I am grateful for students that love Jesus and want to share their testimony. At our DHS Bible Club, we focused on Missions in the month of March and April. Students learned about the Roman’s Road and how to share their testimony with others. It’s simple, “Before Jesus, after Jesus.”

We had a special guest, Miles, to help us at the DHS Bible Club. Miles brought a whole pocket full of little Jesus figures and gave them to the students. Students shared their testimonies and were blessed to receive a little Jesus Figure. It was a God day!

The power of worship. One of the DHS students, Brodi, has stepped up to be our Team United for Christ Bible Club worship leader. He has been a part of our Bible Club since his 7th Grade year. Through the years, I have seen his faith in God grow and I am so proud of him.

I thank God for a heart of a worshipper that would lead his classmates into a time of worship. 💜

Today he sang, I Can Only Imagine. We do not own the rights to this song.

At our DHS Team United for Christ Bible Club we’ve been sharing about the different types of soil in the Parable of the Sower. The different soils represent our hearts.

Last week, we shared about Rocky Soil and how sin can keep the seed of the word of God from growing and having deep roots. To demonstrate this, I brought dissolvable paper and water in a container.

One one side of the paper was the word FORGIVEN. Students then wrote the things they had struggled with on the back of that paper. As the paper was placed in the water, it dissolved along with their struggles. One by one students placed their sins in the water. At the end I would ask them, can you see the sin you wrote? They said, “no.” By the end of the lesson, no one could see the sins and struggles of the class in the container. I am no scientist, but it’s a powerful way to talk about God’s forgiveness.

1 John 1:9 ways, “But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.”
‭‭
One student came up at the end and asked, “what if God can’t forgive my sin?” I told her God sees sin as sin and Jesus paid the ultimate price for it. It seemed like the weight was lifted off her shoulders and she put her paper in the water, it dissolved just like all the others.

The Power of Forgiveness, stems from the Love of God. ❤️

We kicked off our February Bulletin Board at Dickinson High School with God’s Heart Conversation Hearts. It’s important for students, teachers and the staff to know God’s thoughts towards them. ❤️

We began the New Year with a Bible Challenge, read the entire New Testament and Psalm and Proverbs by 12/31/2026! By reading one chapter or two a day it can be done.

Jesus is… DHS Team United for Christ Bible Club students learned about Jesus being our firm foundation. Many times our life can be like the game of Jenga. You may start strong but as the struggles of life happen and pieces begin coming off, will we still be standing? We will if Jesus is our foundation!

Students wrote down their favorite verses on notecards and wrote who Jesus is to them on little blocks of wood.

We celebrated Religious Freedom Day at our DHS Team United for Christ Bible Club. As the Volunteer Campus Chaplain and Bible Club sponsor, I was glad to share the history behind this special day.

A little history: In 1786, Thomas Jefferson drafted the Virginia Statue for Religious Liberty. Every year, since 1993, the Presidents have declared January 16 to be Religious Freedom Day.

At Bible Club, students received a compass and a Bible Reading Plan for the year. The Bible Challenge is to read the New Testament, Psalm and Proverbs in one year. The compass is to remind them that The Holy Spirit is our Guide. Students read different Bible verses, played a game and we closed out the meetings in prayer. It was an amazing day!

From Ms. Lo

Happy New Year my dear family and friends. May we be more hungry for God this year. May we not be distracted by things that keep us away from God.

✅Live Focused on God
✅Make prayer a priority
✅Love your family
✅Make everyday count for eternity

“God blesses those who hunger and thirst for justice, for they will be satisfied.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

I pray this prayer over your 2026:

“May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace.’”
‭‭Numbers‬ ‭6‬:‭24‬-‭26‬ ‭NLT‬‬
