Vision: Building the Bridge Ministries, as the evangelistic arm of the UPCI, envisions a church
that empowers all pastors with training, tools, and support needed to lead thriving
congregations. Serving as an advisor to UPCI leadership, BTB is committed to promoting outreach and evangelism within African American/Black communities across the U.S. Mission: Building the Bridge Ministries mission is

to empower UPCI leaders with resources, local
and national training, outreach partnerships, and guidance on matters vital to the
African American/Black communities within the U.S. and Canada. How We Help
Evangelism: We share the Gospel message with the Black community in North America. Inclusion: We advocate for including Black people in all aspects of the UPCI. Education: We equip UPCI leaders with resources and guidance to better understand and serve the Black community.

Juneteenth reminds us that freedom is worth celebrating.

Today, we honor a historic day of liberation while remembering that true freedom is found in God. Through Christ, we are set free from sin, shame, fear, and bo***ge, and invited into a life of hope, purpose, and redemption.

“Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free…” Galatians 5:1

As we reflect on the past and celebrate progress, may we also give thanks for the God who breaks chains, restores lives, and offers freedom to all.
