We all knew that today would be a great change for our country. We knew that whichever candidate that won would change how our country would go. I am proud to say that yes I was and am a Trump supporter. Do I like everything about him, no I don’t but he is what we needed.
I am a Christian, did I always live my life as God would have me to? No I did not. But I repented and have rededicated my life to living for Christ. My values have changed on many things and it’s not always understood by many.
My point of this post is, the ugliness has came out today. I am seeing old friends, new friends, and even family bashing those of us who supported Trump. That’s okay, I still love you. If you do not want to be apart of my life for my beliefs that’s okay.
You see there is a lot of things that you do or say that I feel are horribly wrong. I even know you have denied Christ. But I still love you and I pray for you everyday. I have had people criticize because I am a woman and they say Goverment shouldn’t tell me what to do with my body. Let me just say I don’t agree Abortion should be used for birth control but under certain circumstances I do understand why a woman would choose this. But you can’t have it both ways! So I stand with what the Bible says!
It amazes me that others say you would vote a felon in to office, and those same people sit down at a dinner table with one or lay in a bed with one. Do you not believe in women’s rights? Of course I do. But then again my right is to be a helpmate to my partner who is head of the household, that is what the Bible says.
When people say this was not an election on Republicans vs democrats it was good vs evil, they were absolutely right.
Both candidates have sins! Both candidates are imperfect! Both candidates have faults. God can forgive any sin but blasphemy. Now I have spoke my thoughts and I have scrolled on past your post, you can do the same with mine or delete me. Either is your choice. I am not mad at you, I don’t hate or dislike you, I still love you and will continue to pray for you. That’s okay if you choose for me not to be in your life, I no longer live my life for this world, I am living my life for my future home.
If you made it through this long post, I pray you have a blessed day. I also ask that you continue to pray for our Country and each other. We have won one victory but have many more battles to defeat before we see real change.
