In 1990, Chief Ifabowale S. Somadhi, an initiated IFA priest of traditional Yoruba religion of Nigeria, West Africa, established the shrine. The Africa religion we are referring to is IFA, Orisa Worship, which has its orgins in Yorubaland, Nigeria. This religion is known by many names in different parts of the world for an example in the United States it is Santeria, In Cuba, it is Luccumi, in Bra

zil, where it is the national religion of that country it is Macumba. Ile Orunmila Shrine, Inc. is located in the Inland Empire, city of San Bernardino, California U.S.A. From its inception the promotion of African (Yoruba) culture and especially Ifa, Orisa, and Ancestor worship has been at the root of the Shrine’s existence. goals are to serve the international Yoruba communities world wide. The Shrine is an important part of the economic development of the Yoruba communities because it sets high spiritual standards. We provide the highest quality of service in the areas of performing traditional Yoruba Divination consultations, marriage, naming and other ceremonies. The Shrine will focus on the following areas:

1.To promote traditional Yoruba culture, Ifa religion and the Orisa by video and radio productions.

2.Utillities aid by helping low-income residents of San Bernardino County to pay their Gas and Southern California Edison bills

3. To facilitate Ayinde Adewole Somadhi, Luck Workshops
The purpose of the Ayinde Adewole Somadhi, Luck Workshops is to introduce young inner city men and women to concepts of Universal Order, living a full and wholelistic life style whereby good physical, mental, and spiritual health could be achieved by incorporating dynamic universal laws into their daily lives.

4. To support Ifa schools, restore traditional Yoruba shrine, and dig water wells in needy communities in Nigeria.

Ile Orunmila Shrine, Inc. annual end of the year fund drive. All donations are tax deductible in U.S.A.

This year funding will go to Ifa Heritage Institute, Oyo, Nigeria.
Ifa Heritage Institute is the only accredited institution of higher learning in the world that specializes in the study of all aspects of Yoruba indigenous culture i.e. Ifa, Yoruba traditional medicine, Literature, Drama, dance and music.

Our goal is to raise $ 600. to purchase 50 school chair-desk for the students. The price of one chair-desk is $12.00. (Naira 4,200).
The second thing is the school sets on over an acre of land and we MUST get a riding lawn mower and it will cost $2,200. I have over 2,995 FaceBook friends 90% of whom are Orisa devotees, Priest, Babalawos, Iyanifas. I am asking you to please help us in this worthy cause. If we don’t do it, who will HELP Orisa people?
