Faith, Love, Unity, and Global Impact—Houston Prepares for Home Free Global Crusade 2025
In recent worship, Pastor Gerald Gonzalez-Gugliuzza Macedonian Phoenix led a powerful and inspiring worship focused on spiritual growth, unity, and preparation for the upcoming Home Free Global Crusade 2025, set to take place on July 12 at the Signia by Hilton in San Jose, California.
The sermon opened with a message centered on the biblical call to perfect faith, love, and unity within the church. Pastor Gerald emphasized that spiritual maturity is not about human perfection but about becoming perfect in Christ through action, service, and sincere worship. He reminded the congregation that faith without works is dead and that the upcoming crusade is an opportunity to put faith into motion through prayer, outreach, and collective participation.
One of the highlights was the announcement of the Home Free Global Crusade in the Bay Area in California with the Global Evangelist, Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol, Filipino singer-artist Yeng Constantino, and Christian Singer Artist Taya Smith. The event promises to be a gathering of global impact, and church members are encouraged to attend in person, host watch parties, share invitations online, and commit to prayer and fasting in the weeks leading up to the crusade as directed also by the US And Great Hispanosphere District Coordinator Pbr. Maritess Ferriol in her video that was shown all throughout the district.
In addition to crusade preparation, the congregation paused to honor Mother’s Day with a special tribute. Apostle Jonathan offered a heartfelt message on the value and strength of mothers, followed by personal testimonies from members, a prayer of blessing, and the distribution of gifts to the mothers in attendance.
Pastor Gerald also shared practical insights about the challenges and blessings of serving a geographically dispersed congregation. He recounted his experiences of traveling long distances and sacrificing comfort to minister to members in distant areas. Despite the difficulties, he affirmed his commitment to expanding the church’s reach, including launching extension worship services in Port Arthur, with potential outreach into Louisiana.
The worship service also included an in-depth discussion on the biblical concept of worship as both a response to God’s past goodness and an act of faith for future blessings. Pastor Gerald encouraged members to view worship not as a routine, but as preparation for eternity and a vital expression of their relationship with God.
Toward the close of the service, church members joined together in a covenant of unity, pledging to support the Home Free Global Crusade through coordinated efforts. Goals were set for the Houston Local Church to accomplish during the crusade. Members also signed up for a week of fasting and prayer and pledged to organize watch parties for those unable to attend in person.
The final portion of the fellowship focused on media preparation. Under Pastor Gerald's direction, the church successfully recorded an official video invitation for the crusade, delivering a passionate message that ended with the unified declaration: “See you there. Praise the Lord!”
As the church family moves forward, Pastor Gerald called on everyone to stay committed to the vision. “This isn’t just another event,” he said. “It’s a move of God — and we all have a part to play.”
