NOVIDO is an independent, non-political, non-profit organization established in the United States of America to represent social interests for Ezidi's (Yazidi)community and other minority in the United States and the world. The Organization is a non-profit corporation organized exclusively for charitable, scientific, religious and educational purposes within the meaning of section 501 (c) 3 of the

Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended. The Organization's main goal to provide the following Services:


Facilitate the delivery of assistance by coordinating with other non-profits and NGO’s. Build good relationship with ways of improving Eizedian Community in Iraq. Improve a group’s environment or circumstances by providing direct humanitarian assistance to meet the immediate needs of the people. Advocate for the introduction of a displaced minority - ethnic groups religion and culture including Yazidi, Christian and other minorities to American Society through community as well as university education programs.

> Education for minorities who recently resettled in the United States

> Educate national and international organizations about the suffering of the Eizedian people.

> Educate non-governmental organization about the Eizedis



Assist displaced refugees re-settle and assimilate by providing community services to help them to adjust. Provide a resource to re-unify family members displaced and separated as a result of conflict. Advance minority interests by assisting refugee’s (Asylum & SIV) immigrate to sponsoring countries through re-settlement programs and provide community services to help them to resettle in USA by providing them access to training, education, employment and other assistance programs.

Members of Novido In. and Kurdish American Foundation of Houston attended the American Jewish Committee (AJC) of Houston honor dinner event for honoring 4 of their community leaders.
The event was successful and we get the chance to meet allot of leaders from Jewish Community here in Houston area.
Also we had the chance to meet Sheila Jackson Lee member of U.S. House of Representative 18th District, Texas and talked about the Ezidi women abductees and she indicated that she is be trying hard in the white house to do something about it.

Today Novdio Members met Dr.Yehuda Sharim the professor at the University of Rice and the founder of the organization Houston in Motion the project of documenting the refugees stories and making resources available for them in one place. Also we met Mr.Yan who is the founder of Fire Starter organization that working together with Mr,Yehuda. The even was very productive and we get the chance to meet allot other community organization here in Houston area. There will be more follow up meeting with Dr.Yehuda who will be conducting interviews and documenting the stories of refugees and he is going to relate the Ezidi refugees stories and Sinjar plight.
If anyone from our Ezidi community would like to document his refugee story contact me so we can arrange an interview with Dr.Yehuda.

اليوم أعضاء منظمة نوفيدو التقوا مع الدكتور يوهودا شاريم البروفيسور في جامعة رايس الأمريكية ومؤسس منظمة هيوستن أن موشن الذي يعمل على مشروع توثيق قصص اللاجئين وإمكانية توفير المصادر اللازمة لهم كما والتقينا أيضا مع السيد يان مؤسس منظمة فاير ستارتر والذي يعمل مع البروفيسور يوهودا معا في نفس المشروع
