This is a follow-up to a text delivered to hundreds of boxes today. It was the story of Jeremiah and the Children of Israel’s 70-year Babylonian captivity and the bible basis for Jeremiah 29:11.
“I know the thoughts I have for you says the Lord. Thoughts of good and not evil to give you hope and a future.” Remember that one?
While resting after a great meal, the Holy Spirit lead me back to a thought after trying to comfort one of my football team members and others about the hard economic struggles of the current season.
Kenyans and others. Here is the download from Heaven that is our thought for today.
Kenya officially became a sovereign country on December 12, 1963, almost 63 years ago, gaining independence from nearly 80 years of British colonial rule.
Milestones of Sovereignty
Kenya’s transition to a fully independent republic occurred in several distinct stages:
1. Internal Self-Rule (Madaraka Day): On June 1, 1963, Kenya achieved internal self-governance with Jomo Kenyatta serving as the first Prime Minister.
2. Full Independence: Sovereignty was officially attained on December 12, 1963. Initially, Kenya was a constitutional monarchy within the Commonwealth, with Queen Elizabeth II as the nominal head of state.
3. Republic Status (Jamhuri Day): Exactly one year later, on December 12, 1964, Kenya became a republic. The office of the Governor-General was abolished, and Kenyatta became the nation’s first President, serving as both head of state and head of government.
4. Historical Context:
Independence was the culmination of decades of agitation and armed resistance, most notably the Mau Mau Uprising (1952–1960), which pressured the British government to accelerate decolonization.

6. Republic Established: December 12, 1964
7. First President: Jomo Kenyatta
December 13, 2026 maybe 63 of the 70 years of captivity that many Kenyans may feel regarding their ability to be properly educated in this digital age leading to gainful and sustainable employment and raise themselves out of poverty conditions.
As President of Salama International Inc, a US faith-and-community-based public benefit organization, I declare a Year of Jubilee, starting Sunday, May 17, 2026, the day of my 20th business anniversary, when I broke free of captivity from depending on a business owner or board of directors from holding my future in their hands. The day I declared to take back control of my will and ability to forge my own future success. The day that shifted my life from being enslaved to a merciless master to free to follow God’s plans for my life to give me a hope and future that I have NEVER regretted, like no other. It was my Day of Jubilee.
Now I am declaring freedom for those who will believe we have the authority backed by the power of God in all our regions served by Salama leaders and members.
I declare and prophesy by the anointing of the Holy Spirit, that a doorway into the heavenlies has been opened for our journey out of poverty and lack.
This is a new time and season to show forth the real glory of God in all our faith and community affairs. We shall no longer succumb to the retrogression of past limiting mindsets of poverty and lack.
I stand on Galatians 3:26-29 that in Christ, we are of the seed of Abraham and heirs of the promises given to him by faith in God’s promises. Deuteronomy 8, 28 and more.
I prophesy over Kenya that knowledge and spiritual light shall overtake the territory and every demonic stronghold from past and present ignorance, greed, and corruption will NOT stop, hinder, bind, or keep believers from prospering so people will know there is a powerful God who helps his people in Kenya.
I decree and declare fruitfulness in all areas of life and godliness shall fall from heaven as ripened fruit from fruit trees in Jesus Name.
