Pride is all about "Self"...Self Glory, Self Importance and Self Will. We cannot serve our Heavenly Father with a Proud Heart. It's not about you and it's not about me! It is all about GOD; His Will not our will. If you are in that place where Pride is separating you from GOD, I want to encourage you to "humble" yourself before GOD. In 1 Peter 5:6-7 we read; 6) Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, 7) casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. Isn't that encouraging?

Proverbs 16:5
Everyone who is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD; Assuredly he will not be unpunished.

Proverbs 16:18
Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before stumbling.

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” – Isaiah 6:8.

Perhaps, Here I am, Lord isn’t as easy as it seems. Right? However, we must never forget that GOD's ways are higher than our own; He can be trusted. In the book of Isaiah we read that GOD called him to deliver a hard message of accountability, which the people refused. And the kicker? Isaiah knew that both he and the message would be rejected, yet he still went. In the same manner, God is asking the same question to believers today: Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Are you willing to answer? Here I am, Lord. Send me.

God is love. His love is available to each of us, no matter what we have done in the past

"When, God, when?" Sounds familiar? So many times we want immediate change, but we don't want to go through the waiting process. Instead, of trusting God we focus on the "when" question. Scripture assures us that God our Heavenly Father is working all things out for our good Patience is a fruit of the Spirit (read Galatians 5:22). It's only through trials, that you and I develope patience and learn to wait on the Lord. Keep praying!

When our eyes are on the storm we may question God’s love. But if our eyes are fixed on the cross, we will know that HE has always loved us and always will. It is in the storm that we find HIM. So, lift-up your eyes and lift-up your hands to the one who loves you.

I pray that you will take your fearful thoughts captive and remember that we serve a loving and Almighty God. His grace and strength is sufficient to see you through every circumstance. Trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and let your heart rejoice greatly!
