WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW EVEN WHILE WAITING ON THE LORD

The thing about waiting is that Satan knows you are waiting, too. And many times, he preys on your anxiety and impatience in waiting, and fashions doors that look like God’s promise to you.

This is why your greatest ally in waiting is prayer—that hard thing to do when waiting.

Not just prayer for the answer to come quickly, or for strength to wait on the answer, but also for the ability to discern which “answer” is *good*, and which is *God*, when it comes.

It is important that even when it looks like what we have waited for has finally come to pass,

we are yet patient and wise enough to employ the technology of prayer in inspecting and sifting through it.

They told David, when Saul unknowingly landed in his jurisdiction, “See, this is the day that God told you about! The day that He hands your enemies over to you!”

It seemed like the answer had come: God Himself has handed Saul over to me. Let me kill him while I have the chance and become king. I am tired of running for my life. After all, God has already anointed me.

It seemed simple enough.

But after David tore a slice out of Saul’s robe, he knew that this was not God. It seemed like a good opportunity—I mean, if David was the one who unknowingly landed in Saul’s territory, Saul would surely have killed him—but it was not God. That was not God’s answer.

And thank God David did not get his hands bloodied with Saul. Thank God David ascended the throne nobly, as God had surely intended for him.

Heaven knows that you are waiting, but Hell knows it too. And while Isaac is being readied, Ishmael can be used as a distraction.

While both are sons and both seem like answers, only one of them is the son of promise. So pray thoroughly. Weigh and sift things in prayer. God is merciful, if you ask for discernment, He will give it to you.

Pray before the answer comes, prayer after the answer has come.

I pray that your obedient waiting will pay off. I pray that even as you wait, mighty strength is multiplied to you. And that when something of an answer comes, you have wisdom to discern what is God and what is not. You are exempted from making costly mistakes, in Jesus’ name.

There is wisdom in being clear as day and vocal about sexual boundaries in a relationship.

A thread.

There is a reason why people mount fences and barricades at borders. They don't just say, "your land stops here, mine stops there” or just draw a line on the ground. Why? Because when you are running or distracted, you might not see the line.

But no matter how distracted you are, you will have to climb a wall/fence to cross it and will be intentionally breaching a boundary, not a mistake.

So when it comes to creating sexual boundaries, don’t just draw the line, erect the wall also.

I bet someone reading all these are saying “this your own is too much” which is why the first question I ask all the couples accountable to me is "Why are you staying away from sexual intimacy before marriage?”

Your why determines the severity of the measures you take.

If I am carrying diamonds worth $100billion and I decide to fly a private jet, hire bodyguards, use armored cars, someone carrying just a new iPhone 13pro max will say I am doing too much, but we have different “whys”.

Does other people's success make you envious?

Success is an outcome of effort. If someone becomes successful, it is the result of their hard work.

When someone achieves success, most people fail to notice their effort. All they see is their achievement, fame or status. Some people become so envious that they become negative towards them and find ways to bring them down. The truth is that when we focus more on what others have achieved, we focus less on what we want. The less we focus on our goals, the less our chances of success.

Focus on your own goals. Use other people’s success to learn and be inspired, but keep motivated by reminding yourself of your dreams. Remember, the sky you want to reach is right there; it takes time and effort to get there.

What choice are you making?

The life we live is decided by the choices we make from moment to moment. We have to be mindful and present to make the choices that will produce the fulfilled life we seek.

To do this we have to acknowledge who we are presently. Why we are this person now. Who we want to be in the future. And why we want to be that person in the future.

Without acknowledging these points we never obtain clarity on the path we need to choose. Instead we become reactive to our environment with no clarity, bouncing around like a ball in a pinball machine. Aimlessly going about, hoping to become successful and accomplished.

To set goals and have a clear path, we have to be honest with ourselves. What is our potential? What are our limitations? What are we truly capable of? What is entrapping us and limiting us from achieving what we desire? All of these are answers we need to make the best choices in our life.

Everything is a choice. Whether it is a conscious one or an unconscious one. Still a choice. The problem is most of the unconscious ones are reactive and usually catabolic. To eliminate the catabolic choices we have to be more conscious of all choices and allow the anabolic energy to infiltrate the decision itself.

We always have the choice of what energy we want to have at any given moment. Unfortunately we become programmed to constantly react to moments which leads to allow catabolic energy to take over.

Be conscious
Be mindful and present.
Be proactive, not reactive.
Let your choices create the life you want. Not entrap you into a life you regret.

How does your morning begin?

The quality of our day depends upon how well we are able to handle the situations we face on that day. By beginning our day with self-connection, we reset our minds, create calmness and increase our physical and mental abilities.

Most people start their day with an electronic connection. The chaos of the world disturbs the mind, even before you have started your day. When the mind is already disturbed, even the manageable become difficult to overcome. You become agitated and frustrated, and this also affects your relationships with other people.

Begin your day with gratitude, thanking life for another day. Calm your mind by praying and meditating. Go for a walk, connect with nature and then create a plan for your day. Your day becomes more productive and less chaotic.

Advance a little bit

The most realistic route to success is incremental. A little bit now, a little more later, and you can move toward whatever goals you set for yourself.

You don't have to get all the way there before tomorrow morning. Just make a few improvements.

There's no need to immediately and forever eliminate all the unhealthy, unproductive habits from your life. Simply pick one, see if you can do without it for a while, and go from there.

Move forward on your own terms, at a sustainable pace. Experience how good a little progress feels, and let it motivate you to keep going.

Some action, some change in perspective, some upgrade in your attitude is well within your reach right now. Make life a little better for you, for others, and you're well on the way to making life a lot better.

IS YOUR WARDROBE BORN AGAIN 🤔🤔

Who told you God is not interested in how you dress? Adam and Eve sewed fig leaves for clothing but God clothed them with long coats (tunics)of skin.

If God wasn't interested in their clothing, He would have left them with fig leaves!

Some of us have left God out of our wardrobes, na Him go clothe you well well🔥

God wants to be pleased by how you dress! Stop saying He doesn't care about how you look outwardly, He does!! We will not argue with the fact that the cover of the book doesn't always define what is inside but if it is whether God wants you well-clothed, He does!

Yet, you cannot please Him with the way you look until you let Him work in you. "For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure". Philippians 2:13

So you my not truly let God work on how you dress until you submit to His workings and personal dealings. Yes, we all stand for modesty yet God has His personal dealings with us when it comes to dressing.

This is how you get convinced to dress in a certain way, nothing and no one can stop or intimidate you because you know God is pleased.

Don't be surprised to see spirit filled sisters and brothers dressing in a certain way, don't be quick to judge them or call them unholy. It is how much God has worked in them and how much they have submitted to His workings in that area of dressing.

A believer may be showing a little cleavage, wear slits or dress in a certain way would expect them to appear but it doesn't stop God from using them so if you quickly conclude they don't know God, you may be wrong.

It just simply shows how little or no working of God in how they appear.
We may preach so much about decency but let's not forget to remind believers to allow God work in every aspect of their lives.

We shouldn't forget to mention to them that God is also interested in their wardrobes and make up boxes.
Showing a little skin,fair cleavages, wearing short and tight skinned dresses will become weird to you when God works on your dress sense.

You are royalty, allow God to do His workings in your life including how you dress and all you do will definitely be to His good pleasure❤🔥

What is your unique ability?

There is something special in each one of us that makes us uniquely distinct. If we were made unique, there must be a reason for it. Once you explore your ability, you not only find your purpose but following your purpose heal yourself and heal the world.

The true nature of every life is to exist in its best form. So everyone of us has an innate ability to contribute towards upliftment of humanity. Most of the times our innate abilities go unnoticed because we are so focused on material success that we never try to explore our true purpose.

Think of something you are truly good at or passionate about, something that makes you, you. Once you find your unique ability, try to enhance it. Your purpose of life will be fulfilled through your uniqueness.

Is there something we all can do to light up someone's life?

It doesn't matter who you are; we all have the ability to make a difference in this world. All we need is the intention to do so.

Many times we want to help someone, but we feel we don't have enough or that our help might not bring much difference in their situation. We don't realise that even the little we do can mean much to them. So instead of holding yourself back, give whatever you can and in the way you can. Sometimes all they need is motivation; once they get motivated, they can help many others.

You always have something to give, whether material help, mental support, motivation or prayers. When you change someone's situation a little, you bring a bigger difference in the world.
