Yesterday across the country sadly many churches used the pulpit for political agendas. Some churches are losing focus on their core mission by prioritizing political issues over the message of Christ. The church’s role is to preach the gospel, emphasize repentance, and uphold biblical teachings, rather than to advocate for specific political agendas or candidates.

My belief is that the pulpit should serve as a place for sharing the teachings of Jesus, not for promoting partisan views. By focusing on the Word of God and clear biblical principles, Christians can be guided in how to approach issues, including moral and ethical questions, without the pulpit directly advocating for political sides. Political concerns and moral issues (like abortion and equality) should be addressed in light of scripture, allowing individuals to make informed choices based on Gods word rather than partisan rhetoric.

Church leaders are accountable to God for how they use their pulpit, it is a sacred call to do that, we need to prioritize Christ’s teachings above political influence. Every time Jesus was confronted on political issues or ask His word on sin… must the time He refered back to what God says!

We must preserve the integrity and mission of the church, ensuring it remains a beacon of salvation and spiritual guidance, unity, and growth in faith rather than division through political discourse.

The gospel itself, when properly preached, has the power to influence believers’ perspectives on society, morality, and personal decisions, including voting, without the need for overt political alignment.

To summarize my view, the church’s purpose is to preach Christ, not politics. The pulpit is meant for proclaiming the gospel, calling for repentance, and teaching God’s Word, not advancing partisan agendas.

When we focus on scripture, believers can discern right from wrong and make choices, including voting, based on biblical values. Leaders are accountable to God for using the pulpit to uplift Christ alone. Let us keep the message of Jesus at the center, guiding us in faith and life.

A father used to say to his children when they were young: —When you all reach the age of 12 I will tell you the secret of life. One day when the oldest turned 12, he anxiously asked his father what was the secret of life. The father replied that he was going to tell him, but that he should not reveal it to his brothers.
—The secret of life is this: The cow does not give milk. "What are you saying?" Asked the boy incredulously. —As you hear it, son: The cow does not give milk, you have to milk it. You have to get up at 4 in the morning, go to the field, walk through the corral full of manure, tie the tail, hobble the legs of the cow, sit on the stool, place the bucket and do the work yourself.
That is the secret of life, the cow does not give milk. You milk her or you don't get milk. There is this generation that thinks that cows GIVE milk. That things are automatic and free: their mentality is that if "I wish, I ask..... I obtain."
"They have been accustomed to get whatever they want the easy way...But no, life is not a matter of wishing, asking and obtaining. The things that one receives are the effort of what one does. Happiness is the result of effort. Lack of effort creates frustration."
So, share with your children from a young age the secret of life, so they don't grow up with the mentality that the government, their parents, or their cute little faces is going to give them everything they need in life.
