Talent may open the door, but discipline determines how far you go once you get inside.

The difference between where you are and where you’re trying to go is often found in what you’re willing to do consistently … especially when you don’t feel like doing it.

❌ Distractions
❌ Mediocrity

Replace them with:

THE PIVOT: Standing On Truth

Psalm 23:1–3 The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.

A Shepherd and His Sheep

Reflection
Sheep cannot thrive without a shepherd. Unlike cattle, sheep are not driven … they are led. They move not by force but by following the familiar voice of the one who cares for them. “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me” (John 10:27).

Contentment and peace flow from trusting the Shepherd. He leads us to still waters when our souls are restless. He restores us when we are broken. He gives us righteousness … not earned by effort, but imputed by grace. The shepherd does not abandon His flock in the valley of shadows. Instead, His rod protects, His staff guides, and His presence comforts.

The key to following is hearing His voice. And the key to hearing His voice is spending time in His presence. Jesus said, “No longer do I call you slaves… but I have called you friends” (John 15:15). A friend confides in you; so does your Shepherd. You can walk with confidence when God has whispered His will to you.

If you are not intentional about how you spend your TIME, you are actually being unintentional about how you live your LIFE.

Every minute is an investment.
Every hour is a seed.
Every day is a piece of your life that you can never get back.

So be careful how you spend it…
Be careful WHO you spend it with…
Be careful WHAT you spend it on…
And be intentional about WHY you’re spending it.

You can make more money.
You can replace possessions.
But you can never recover TIME once it has passed.

Spend your time where your purpose is. 🫡

THE PIVOT: Standing On Truth

Get in the Game

Ephesians 6:12
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Reflection
We’ve got to get in the game … and make no mistake, it is a game.

The powers of this world have carefully cultivated chaos, confusion, and darkness. Systems are designed to distract, divide, and destroy. But as children of God, we are not spectators … we are players on the field of spiritual battle.

The schemes of darkness should not discourage you; they should ignite you.

Every time the enemy pushes lies, you have the opportunity to stand in truth. Every time fear rises, faith can answer. Every time the world sinks deeper into chaos, God calls His people to rise higher in His strength.

But here’s the key: you cannot win this game without God.

Strategies, strength, and wisdom apart from Him will fail. Only when you are clothed in His armor, grounded in His Word, and filled with His Spirit can you overcome the forces arrayed against you.
