Sometimes when we have asked the Lord to help us change or to mold our character, we don't realize that a growing process is in the works. So what happens? Well I don't know about you but I can tell you about me. The majority of the time I am fighting against what I all along asked the Lord to do in me. I am resisting the process unknowingly and It's not until I am all frustrated and worked up that I realize that there is still so much dying to myself that needs to take place still. Growing takes time and sometimes the process of growth or maturing can be uncomfortable even hurt but it is necessary. As a natural process flowers shed excess of buds, but that doesn't mean they are not healthy. We pass through seasons or situations for that matter, that sometimes weigh us down like those buds on a flower, but that doesn't mean we are not in a healthy state. Why is it that us women like to carry so many things when we dont have to? Thankfully we have a GOOD Father who knows exactly what to do with those excess buds. He knows the process might hurt or make us uncomfortable but he also knows how necessary it is to get us to that next step, where in his sovereign divinity he planned for us to be. Embrace your season with boldness, you are never alone in it, something wonderful is being produced out of it!
