Today 14th December 2019, I unbehalf of BONUS PASTOR FOUNDATION met with the family of Alex(picture attached), to plan on how to take him off the street and place him into a treatment and convalescent shelter where he'll be well taking care of in an environment and atmosphere that will respect his dignity as a human being, giving him daily bath,providing food, meds and prayers with other activities of daily living that will promote, enhance and speed up his recovery.
BPF , does not take any case without the consent of there family. This is to make sure that the family is aware of there relocation and continue to follow up with there treatment to avoid unnecessary suspicion associated with the kind of environment we operate.
BPF, is a non profit organization that's out to redefine how mental patients are treated through personal human touch approach model which includes the Golden rule method that stipulates treating others the way you and me wanna be treated, also keeping them clean because a saying goes that cleanliness is next to Godliness, decent sleeping spaces, feeding them knowing that a hungry man is an angry man.
Above all, working alongside other medical professionals treating them base on there individual diagnosis and also engaging other prayer counselors for there spiritual needs because the Bible says in Psalm37:5 NLT: Commit everything you do to the Lord, Trust Him and HE Shall bring it up to pass........thy cares, plans and other necessities commend to God by fervent prayers.
In BPF, it's absolutely important that they're conducively sheltered to prevent them from wandering aimlessly feeding on filths , faeces and all kinds of inhuman behaviors, ostracizations and abandonements.
Alex has been on the street for years, roaming and feeding on food not made for humans and also defecating on himself. BPF is out to assist him through his recovery process and also dignify his person as a child of God. This will happen as soon as his family give us a consent order.
Dear friends, we can't do this without YOUR support. Many cases are presently coming in and we need YOU to make that difference in there life's. No amount is small. Every naira/penny goes a long way .BPF also creates employment by paying those cleaning, cooking and monitoring them. We call them PERSONAL SUPPORT AID'S(PSA).
