Throughout this series, we have dealt with what happens when God comes to inspect His house and what happens when God judges what He has inspected. But now we must confront an even more sobering question:
What happens when God has inspected the house, judged the house—and then removes His Glory from the house?
In I Samuel 2–4, the house of Eli gives us a prophetic warning. God addressed corruption, dishonor, compromised priesthood, ignored warnings, and unrestrained behavior. Judgment was not sudden—it came after warning, opportunity, inspection, and divine confrontation.
Then came the devastating declaration:
ICHABOD — “The glory is departed.”
— I Samuel 4:21–22
🔥 Can we become so accustomed to religious activity that we fail to recognize the Glory has lifted?
🔥 What happens when position remains, but presence departs?
🔥 What happens when the structure is still standing, but God is no longer endorsing what is happening inside it?
🔥 And what must we do when God begins dealing with OUR HOUSE?
This Thursday is not simply another Bible Study. This is a call to examination, repentance, reverence, and restoration.
Come ready for the Word.
Come ready for truth.
Come ready for God to search the house.
Come ready to ask:
“Lord, after You inspect my house, will You find a dwelling place worthy of Your Glory?”
