You don’t have to have all the answers before taking the first step. The CALL walks alongside families as they learn about foster care, prepare to open their homes, and continue caring for children once they do.

Mark 9:37 reminds us that when we welcome a child in Jesus’ name, we welcome Him. Foster care is one way we can put that love into action by opening our hearts and homes to children who need safety, stability, and belonging.

Every day, children enter foster care through no fault of their own. They need more than a place to stay—they need adults who will listen, offer patience, provide encouragement, and remind them that they are worthy of love.

You don’t have to become a foster parent to make a difference. You can support foster families, provide meals, donate necessities, offer respite care, or simply help spread awareness about the needs of children in care.

Every child matters. Every child deserves love. Every child deserves to feel safe, valued, and never forgotten. Be the reason a child feels seen, supported, and loved.

Care Teams bring together four people to provide simple, consistent support through meals, prayer, and regular connection. It’s a practical way for local churches to help foster families feel surrounded and supported as they care for kids in their homes.

Please pray for the thousands of children in foster care not only in Arkansas, but all over our country.

More than 4,300 Louisiana children in foster care do not have a permanent place to call home. Now, DCFS is asking churches across the state to help close that gap.
