Crossgate Student Ministry will be hosting a Lemonade Love Stand for The CALL to benefit children and youth in foster care in Garland & Hot Springs Counties.
So before you take off for the lake, or to lunch, we invite you to stop by our tables, located near our front entrance, pick out a baked treat, grab a lemonade and donate what you can! In addition to cash and check, you can donate today by texting “lemonloveghs” to 41444.
So make plans to stop by following the 9:00 and 10:30 AM services to enjoy a fresh glass of lemonade and some yummy treats - all for a great cause!

Our George (age 16) came to our Heart Gallery photo shoot this week to update his photo. He came in, gave us big hugs, got a fresh fade from our resident hair stylist, and held a baby (my grandson!) for a picture!

George was so gentle and kind. How I pray that soon he finds the perfect family; a family who will love him unconditionally and help him heal and grow. George matters. One yes could change everything.

Foster care is local missions.

Christians are called to care for the fatherless and vulnerable. Today, foster care is one of the ways the Church can live out that calling in a very real and tangible way.

But knowing 𝘩𝘰𝘸 to step into foster care can feel overwhelming. That’s where The CALL comes in.

We're here to equip local churches to support children and families impacted by foster care.

That can look different in every community. It might look like calling families to open their homes, rallying around foster families through Care Teams, creating spaces for prayer and encouragement, or supporting the mission through donations. The CALL walks alongside local churches, helping them engage in foster care ministry in ways that fit their people, resources, and community.

Hey, moms and dads! If you are cleaning out closets soon and have boy’s 4T, 5T or size 8 new or like new clothing items we could really use them in our CALL Mall for kids in foster care!!

Guess what time of the year it is!?!?

That’s right! It is time to start planning for our biggest fundraiser of the year:

BREAKFAST with SANTA

This year we are going to be collecting strings of vintage outdoor Christmas lights. If you have a set that is in good working order, but you are no longer using please drop it off at The CALL Monday - Thursday from 9am - 3pm.

We are happy to use your donation to make more Christmas magic this year for kids in foster care!!
