🌾⛪Attention Pastors: Harvest Workers Sunday is coming soon!

On Sunday, June 14th, Matthew 9:35-10:8 is the assigned Gospel reading in Year A of the lectionary cycle. "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few” is the biblical foundation upon which the Harvest Workers program is built. We believe this Sunday presents a wonderful opportunity to bring that message to life in your congregation.

To help you make the most of this day, we have put together a webpage of free, downloadable resources:

▪️Sermon Ideas
▪️Children's Sermon Ideas
▪️Readings & Prayers
▪️Small Group Discussion Guide

2026 ANNUAL GATHERING KEYNOTE SPEAKER INTRO:

We are excited to welcome Ben Griffin! Ben is a strategic facilitator and experienced pastor. He serves as the CEO of LINC, a national nonprofit that helps people turn their ideas into ventures that solve real world problems in the name of Jesus.

Ben has been active in the church planting community as a planter and mentor for over 20 years. He also serves as a teaching pastor at multiple churches. In his personal life, Ben and his wife are empty nesters with three young adult children. He produces ministry related visuals and watches too many superhero movies.

In his keynote, “Called with Jesus,” Ben invites participants to reimagine calling—not as something that begins with what we do, but with Who walks with us. Drawing from Prakaleo, John 6, and Exodus 13–14, he will highlight how God works through our limited means to accomplish far more than we could ask or imagine. This message centers on three grounding truths: we may not know where we are going, but we know Whom we are following; God never gives us more than He can handle; and while God does not promise the journey will be easy, He does promise His presence every step of the way. Participants will leave grounded, encouraged, and re-centered on Jesus as the source, sustainer, and ultimate goal of their calling.

We hope you will join us in New Braunfels June 24-25th to hear everything Ben and our other keynotes have to share with us!

Early bird registration ends June 30th! Register here: https://www.lcmctexas.org/annual-gathering/

Harvest Workers began as a dream shared by a group of pastors who wondered what it would take to create a ministry training program that was affordable, accessible, and deeply practical. These conversations and prayers led to partnering with LCMC Texas District to build something new...training rooted in Scripture, mission, and real world ministry skills for those called to serve but unable to pursue traditional seminary paths.

Traditional seminary often emphasizes academic biblical and theological studies while introducing practical ministry. Harvest Workers intentionally flips that approach. Leaders envisioned a program that introduces foundations in Bible and theology while diving deeply into practical ministry, ensuring that students grow in knowledge and competency as they walk into God’s calling.
