Hi All,

For those who may not have seen this earlier, I want to invite you to join us in reading through the Bible. Perhaps you began this January and your plan fizzled out. Or maybe you’ve found reading through the entire Bible to be intimidating. We have a plan that we think might work for you! We will begin on May 13th and end on December 31, 2025.

That’s right, we will be taking about a year and a half.
Often, there are three reasons folks struggle to read through the entire Bible: 1) they lack a structured plan; 2) the fear they won’t be able to understand the difficult passages; and 3) the kind of accountability that encourages them to persevere. Our plan seeks to address those challenges. Here’s how we do it:

1) I will provide you a PDF or Calendar Doc which will tell you the reading for that particular day. You will notice that we only have readings on Monday through Saturday. This gives you the Lord’s Day to catch up if you miss a reading in a given week. I have found this to be a helpful feature in this plan. That’s also why the plan is extended beyond a year. It makes the daily readings a bit shorter.

2) There will be a page where you can go and post any questions or comments based on the day’s reading. This helps us read God’s Word in community and offers a measure of accountability.

I really do hope you will join us! It’s a great opportunity for those who have never read through the Bible, haven’t done it in a long time, or simply want to be reminded of God’s glorious story of redemption. A group of progressive Christians created a statement to promote godless, anti-biblical ideas in Ottawa County. They did this under the rubric of Christian unity. Their statement represents a sure path to apostasy.
