Yes! I know he was controversial pastor and I don’t agree on all his Calvinistic beliefs. Which is more theological and all, but he did understand the nature of the church.

A good friend from church sent this to me today. It really it hit home and reminded me of this verse in Matthew all of which hit to close to home today. “Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.”
‭‭Matt 5:11 Even if the world turns against you, never give up on God. He never gave up on you.
