Our June Holy Hike was at Memorial Lake near Fort Indiantown Gap. Twelve hikers walked around the lake and shared Eucharist. Join us on July 6th at Boyds Big Tree Preserve.

Our November Holy Hike has been rescheduled for November 10th at 2 pm at Clarence Schock Park.

September's Holy Hike was at Dan Hostetter's farm in Annville. The farm has been in his family since his grandfather bought it. They farm soybeans and corn and irrigate from Swatara Creek. The Susquehannock, Delaware and Lenni Lenape people all moved through this land and many arrowheads have been found near the creek. Thanks to Dan for a great day out on the farm!

Our August Holy Hike in Quittie Creek Nature Park took us to 18th century lime kilns (thanks to Dan Hostetter for explaining the chemistry and importance of lime to the soil), past the remains of the Bachman Mill and we saw a great blue heron. Join us in September for a hike around the Hostetter farm!

Our second Holy Hike was a hot one! But we had "special guest hikers" - Bishop Audrey and Glenn Scanlan. We even met another hiker who joined us for most of the trek and Eucharist. Holy Hikes welcomes everyone. Join us next time on Sunday, August 4th at 2 pm at Quitte Park in Annville.
