Eleven34 Communities

Eleven34 Communities Disconnection, division, and relational messes surround us. Is there hope that community can be positive? Even transformative? What does real community look like?

We help micro-churches and church plants have a place to gather in genuine community. We believe community is not only critical to following Jesus but will also bring us closer to God and the people around us. origins

ildren. Steve and Courtney have served in churches of all shapes and sizes for more than 22 years. Their years of experience have challenged them to leave behind religious check boxes and pursue real, transformative community fueled by Jesus’ key directives to His followers:

1. Love God with your entire being.
2. Love your neighbor as yourself.
3. Go and make disciples. initiatives
- Eleven34 Gatherings exist as spaces where disciples make disciples through a Jesus-expressed and Holy Spirit-inspired model revealed throughout Scripture. Every person has something valuable to contribute. And there’s always room for one more.
- Discipleship is much more than making converts. Discipleship involves meeting people where they are on their journey and walking with them to become more like Jesus.
- Multiplication means stepping beyond our holy huddles to bring those outside the circle into relationship with God and others. Multiplication requires the development of leaders, allows for deeper dependence on the Holy Spirit, and encourages more genuine relationships as gatherings stay intentionally small.

A Spirit-Filled Church: Using What’s in the House

The single command Jesus gave his followers before igniting his movement was “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised...” (Acts 1:4). What has God prepared for or given you that you have not built?

“Now when Adonai your God brings you into the land that He swore to your fathers—to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob—to give you great and good cities that you did not build, and houses full of all good things that you did not fill, and cisterns dug that you did not dig, vineyards and olive trees that you did not plant, and you eat and are full, then watch yourself so that you do not forget Adonai, who brought you out from the land of Egypt, from the house of slavery. You must fear Adonai your God and serve Him, and swear by His Name. - Deuteronomy 6:10-13 TLV

What is the context of this Scripture?

1 Timothy 5:17-19 TLV
The elders who lead well are worthy of honor and honorarium—especially those who work hard in the word and teaching. For the Scripture says, “You shall not muzzle the ox while he is threshing,” and, “The worker is worthy of his wage.” Do not accept an accusation against an elder except on the evidence of two or three witnesses.
