New Life Worship Center Welcome to the official page of the New Life Worship Center. Senior Pastor Claude Harris Jr. and founders Drs. Claude and Regina T. Harris.

The New Life Worship Center COGIC held its first service on October 24th, 1982 in the home of Pastors Claude and Regina Harris. The first members were Claude Harris Sr, Regina Harris, Hattie Coleman, and Claude Harris Jr. After only three years the congregation not only grew out of the Pastor’s home, but also the building at 2402 Old Savannah Rd. So in November of 1985, the New Life Worship Center

Moved to 1017 8th Avenue, Augusta GA. It was at this location that the Worship Center experienced awesome growth and increase in the ministry. Pastor Harris developed Life Line Hotline, Life Line Food Pantry, Tutoring Program, Witnessing and Outreach Team, and counseling. In 1996, God gave Pastor Harris the vision for the Nehemiah Project and called for New Life to rise up and build. The church moved its services to a local elementary school the following year, and in 1998 purchased the land at 3550 Morgan Rd, Hephzibah, Ga. By August 1998 phase one of the Nehemiah Project began with the ground breaking service for the Family Life Center. In the midst of the building, the ministry continued to grow and expanded to include to television broadcasts: “Life with Gina” and the “Proceeding Word”. Only one year after breaking ground, phase one of the Nehemiah Project was completed. The church moved to its current location and has since purchased 22.2 additional acres adjacent to the grounds towards phase two of the project. In 2006, the church built Wisdom World Childcare and Learning Facility. Today the church continues to grow and declare the Gospel of the Kingdom that all who may receive might have life and life more abundantly!

🔥 I’M STILL ON ASSIGNMENT!

A powerful word today from Pastor Claude Harris Jr.! You may be facing familiar attacks from the enemy, but this time, don’t respond how you did in days past. Respond with wisdom! Recognize the pattern, and don’t let an old pattern write a new conclusion.

Nehemiah 6 reminds us that the enemy wants to distract you, get you to come down, and pull your focus away from the work. This is why you must not only recognize what he’s doing but also know who you are!

🎯 Recognize the spear, but don’t become the spear thrower.
🎯 Don’t confuse what you’re going through with what God is doing through you.
🎯 Your condition has not canceled your calling.

🎉 TWO DAYS. ONE BIG CELEBRATION! 🎉

It’s almost time to celebrate the 2nd Pastoral Anniversary of our Senior Pastor, Pastor Claude Harris Jr.! Join the New Life family for a special weekend as we honor this great man of God. ❤️🙌🏾

The celebration begins Saturday, September 19 at 5 p.m. with our Pastoral Banquet. 🍽️ Tickets are $25/person. You can purchase online or in person after Sunday services. Attire is casual, and you may wear your favorite sports jersey.

Then, the celebration continues Sunday! 🔥 That's September 20 at 11 a.m. with guest speaker Elder David Tolbert. Make plans to be with us for this special weekend as we show our love and appreciation to Pastor Claude Harris Jr. 🎉
