The Trinity Pollinator Garden is GLORIOUS today! And a very busy smorgasboard of delicious pollen for our bee and butterfly friends (I love the bee in the video with so much pollen in his little baggy pollen sweatpants!)

This spring 2026, Trinity's pollinator garden was officially added to the City of Hendersonville's Bee City USA Pollinator Trail. While we're a little farther off the beaten path from downtown, come on by to see purple coneflower and all her pink, yellow, and green friends! (I have a brown thumb, so please tell me in the comments what the other flowers are called!)

MANY MANY thanks to our Building & Grounds team, and esp. Priscilla Karvonen & Wayne Youngdahl for building up our pollinator garden from a weedy patch to our favorite Butterfly Buffet! Each year, they expand it a little farther down the bed as we continue the process of replacing invasive or non-functional plants with more delicious, native pollinators.

We bid a fond farewell to our friends with Brethren Disaster Ministries. They spent over two months on a sleepover pajama party at Trinity while they generously donated their time to post-Helene recovery projects with Henderson County & Thermal Belt Habitat for Humanity. But never fear, their next project site will be in Yancy County where they will help get folks back into their home and into their lives again.
