Our 2026 theme, "Building on the Legacy" (Nehemiah 2:18), holds us to a foundation older and wider than any one congregation.

Music. Movement. Spoken word. The gifts God put in this District, offered back to Him in front of everybody. Elder Sharon Maye is coordinating.

A legacy is only as strong as the people carrying it. Dr. Valenica Eggleston-Clark leads a working session on health, wellness, and wholeness — the care of body, mind, and spirit that makes long labor possible.

Nehemiah's builders worked with one hand and stood guard with the other. "Building on the Legacy" (Nehemiah 2:18) asks the same of us: tend the work, and tend the builder.

Every work of building begins with a word spoken over it. District Elder Calvin Young opens the 132nd Holy Convocation of the Southern District–Henderson and sets the tone for five days of worship, teaching, and consecration.

Our 2026 theme, "Building on the Legacy" (Nehemiah 2:18), calls us to honor the foundation already laid and to take up the work now entrusted to our hands.
