🙏 When the Trials Keep Coming — Job 2:1–11

Sometimes we think, “Surely I’ve been through enough.” But then another trial comes. Another burden. Another heartbreak. Another moment that tests our faith.

In Job 2:1–11, Job had already lost so much, yet Satan continued to test him. Even in unimaginable suffering, Job was being challenged to turn away from God.

But Job’s story reminds us of something powerful: our circumstances may change, our health may change, people may change, and life may hurt—but God does not change.

When you are going through a season you don’t understand, hold on to God even when you don’t understand what He is doing. Faith isn’t trusting God only when everything is going right. Faith is trusting Him when everything seems to be going wrong.

And sometimes, the greatest testimony isn’t “Look what God kept me from.”
Sometimes it’s “Look how God carried me through it.”

If you’re hurting, struggling, questioning, or simply exhausted from the battles of life, don’t walk away from God—run toward Him. There is strength in His presence, hope in His Word, and comfort in knowing you never face the storm alone.

“Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him.” — Job 13:15

Come worship with us at Oak Hill Baptist Church. Come as you are, bring a friend, and let’s seek the Lord together. ❤️

God is still God—even in the storm

We’d love to see you in God’s house tomorrow! ✝️

09/03/2026

Tonight at Oak Hill Baptist Church, we were reminded through Hebrews 10:22–32 of the importance of drawing near to God with a sincere heart, holding firmly to our faith, and encouraging one another along the way.

God calls us to not give up, not turn back, and not take our salvation lightly. In a world that constantly tries to pull us away from the Lord, we need to stand firm in our faith and remain faithful to the One who has always been faithful to us.

We were reminded that church isn’t just a place we go—it’s a family we need. We need one another. We need encouragement. We need accountability. And most importantly, we need Jesus.

If you’ve been feeling distant from God, discouraged, or tempted to give up, don’t walk away—draw closer. There is still grace, there is still hope, and there is still a place for you in God’s house.

🙏 “Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith…” — Hebrews 10:22

What a blessing it is to gather together, open God’s Word, and be reminded of what truly matters.

Thank you, Lord, for another night in Your house!
We pray that the message continues to work in each of our hearts long after we leave the church doors. ❤️

🙏 What a Wonderful Day in the Lord’s House! 🙏

What a blessing it was to gather together today at Oak Hill Baptist Church and hear God’s Word proclaimed!

Today’s message came from Romans 15:1-11, reminding us of the importance of bearing with one another, putting others before ourselves, and living in unity as followers of Christ.

We were reminded that our faith isn’t just about what we receive from Christ—it’s also about how we love, encourage, support, and serve those around us. We may not always agree, and we may not always see things the same way, but Christ calls us to welcome one another and bring glory to God together.

❤️ “Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.” — Romans 15:7

What a powerful reminder that Christ welcomed us just as we were, and we are called to extend that same grace and love to others.

If you weren’t with us today, you were missed! But there is always a place for you at Oak Hill Baptist Church. Whatever you may be facing, whatever burden you’re carrying, and wherever you are in your walk with God—come worship with us.

What a great day it was in the Lord’s house!
We’re thankful for His Word, His presence, and every person He brought through our doors today. ❤️

🌿 TOMORROW IS SUNDAY — AND YOU’RE INVITED. 🌿

Maybe life has been good lately… or maybe it’s been really hard.

Maybe you’re carrying a burden nobody else knows about.
Maybe your heart is tired.
Maybe you’ve been stressed, worried, hurting, or simply trying to hold everything together.
Maybe you need answers. Maybe you need peace. Or maybe you just need somewhere to belong.

Whatever you’re facing, you don’t have to face it alone.

Tomorrow is a new opportunity to step away from the noise of life and spend some time in the presence of the One who knows exactly what you’re going through.

You don’t have to have everything figured out.
You don’t have to be perfect.
You don’t have to have the right words.

Just come.

Come worship.
Come pray.
Come hear God’s Word.
Come fellowship with others.
Come exactly as you are.

Because sometimes the very thing our hearts need most is simply to be in the Lord’s house.

📖 “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28

Everyone is welcome. Everyone has a place. And there is always room for you.

🌸 Tomorrow is Sunday. Come join us at Oak Hill Baptist Church.
We would love to see you there!

Sunday School — 10:00 AM
Worship Service — 11:00 AM

🙏 If you’ve been needing a sign to come to church… maybe this is it.
Come expecting God to meet you right where you are.
