AWANA starts Wednesday, September 9, and we are getting ready for a great year!

Our biggest remaining volunteer need is for helpers in T&T, our older elementary club.

Helping can be as simple as:
• listening to kids recite handbook sections at a table
• encouraging students and helping them stay engaged
• assisting during club activities
• serving more regularly throughout the full club night

You do not need to be a Bible expert or have previous AWANA experience.

And you do not have to be a member of Valley Evangelical Free Church—or even an AWANA parent—to serve. Parents, grandparents, adult siblings, aunts, uncles, family friends, and neighbors who love Christ and want to invest in kids are welcome to consider joining us.

All volunteers must complete and pass a background check.

Our AWANA Leader Information Meeting is Wednesday, September 2 at 6:00 PM at Valley Evangelical Free Church, 341 N. Lake Street in Hemet.

Interested in helping? Send us a message or come to the meeting Wednesday night.

And if you haven’t registered your kids yet, registration is still open! AWANA meets Wednesdays from 6:00–8:00 PM and is open to children age 3 (potty trained) through 8th grade.

Awana Clubs is built on the 3B ministry philosophy of child discipleship: Belong, Believe, Become. Children build spiritual resilience when they feel they belong to Jesus, when they believe in the truth of the Bible and then become disciplemakers in their own right.
