Some situations feel irreversible… but Jesus has authority over the impossible.

In Matthew 9, the blind receive sight and the mute begin to speak. What people thought was permanent, Jesus restored completely.

The crowd said:
“Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel.”

Jesus still brings hope to hopeless situations today. 🙌

“You are worthy, our Lord and God,
to receive glory and honor and power,
for you created all things,
and by your will they were created
and have their being.”
Revelation 4:11

What if your greatest need isn’t what everyone else can see?

When the paralytic was brought to Jesus, everyone expected healing. But before Jesus healed the man’s body, He addressed his heart:

“Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven.”

The religious leaders were outraged because only God can forgive sins — and that was exactly Jesus’ point. Through both forgiveness and healing, Jesus revealed who He truly is: God in the flesh with authority over sin and suffering.

Jesus didn’t just come to improve lives… He came to save souls. 🙌

This week, we continued our series, “The Kingdom Advances,” examining how Jesus demonstrates unparalleled authority over every realm fractured by sin.

Are you prepared to submit to God’s authority? We are confronted with the same decision as the crowds in Matthew’s gospel: How will you respond to King Jesus?

No one remains impartial when His Kingdom advances—will you acknowledge Him as the Lord of your life?

Last Sunday, we had the honor of celebrating our graduating seniors and recognizing the incredible future God has ahead for each of them. We also celebrated a powerful baptism and the life-changing work God is continuing to do in people’s lives.

This Sunday, we’ll continue Week 2 of our The Kingdom Advances series as we dive into Matthew 8:22–9:34 and look at the power, compassion, and authority of Jesus.

No matter where you are in life or in your faith journey, there’s a place for you here. Bring your family, invite a friend, and come expectant for what God wants to do.

We can’t wait to worship with you this Sunday!

Don’t follow Jesus because the crowd is large. Don’t follow Him because the miracles are impressive.

Follow Him because He is Lord!

As disciples of Jesus, we celebrate new faith and excitement, but we also need to understand that following Jesus means surrender, trust, and commitment.

While the crowd backed away, Jesus reached out His hand.
That’s what Jesus still does today.
He moves toward the broken, the hurting, the outcast, and the hopeless with compassion and grace.
No one is beyond the reach of Jesus.
