Living Waters Counseling, Inc. There were two volunteer counselors and no office personnel.

began as a dream in August of 2002, in the living room of its founders and transitioned to a donated 600 square’ former carpenter’s shop in Headland, Alabama. From 2002 to 2006, we used this one office with a tiny bathroom in the corner of a very small waiting room. As the dream came to fruition, the vision began to blossom bringing a number of volunteer counselors, mentors, and office personnel w

hich necessitated a larger facility. The demand for the services we offered was increasing as word spread from our clients. In 2005 land was donated in a beautiful country setting on County Road 125; and, in 2006 Living Waters Counseling received a grant to construct a Counseling Center. The founders’ original vision was to have a facility on 35 acres of land, built around a body of water with a counseling center, five cabins, an activity building, a chapel, and a barn. As of today, there have been twenty-five acres donated that already had a chapel, and barn. A 3,200 square’ counseling center and a 4000 square’ Activity Building have been constructed, leaving only the five cabins yet to build. Our Vision…

Living Waters Counseling, Inc. is based on an inspired vision God gave its founders to establish a comprehensive community mental health facility that would bind up the broken hearted, mend families and strengthen and unify the community through health and healing based on God’s Word. We believe that providing services based upon God’s Word brings about healing and provides assistance in helping individuals and families overcome life’s difficult situations. Our organization does not follow any one denominational path; all are welcomed; none are turned away. Clients never pay for our services. We operate on donations only. We look around and wonder – why is this world so full of trouble? The answer is simple. The Prince of the air is stirring up and trying to accelerate his journey to the pit even though he doesn’t believe he is headed to the pit; he still believes that he is better, bigger and more powerful than God. It is no wonder he spreads doubt, confusion, and lies – he lies to himself. This writing is a compelled writing after the news of the debacle at the Grammy Awards – hereafter to be known as The Hades Awards for Best Performance for Worshipping the Devil. Any and every Christian has a voice – now is the time to use it! This performance by the two that performed or did whatever they call performing the song titled “Unholy” represents how very far our culture in America has sunk and how we are walking - no –running further and further away from God. The woman that was a part of this act said in an interview, “I know that what we did was uncool towards religion. I wanted to be a part of religion one time, but religion doesn’t want me.” I agree! Religion doesn’t want anyone – God wants us!!! God wants of His children through relationship with His Son Jesus Christ! Religion is not the culprit – it is the door that the enemy walked into and worked through to hurt people and lead them away from God!!

God wins! That’s The Truth! Isaiah 26:3 tells us to keep our eyes steadfastly on Him! Why? Because He is our Peace, our Father that loves us. Religion is not “who” loves and accepts us – it is God. I genuinely wish the woman on the stage of the Grammys knew this Truth. If you feel helpless to do anything about this – don’t. Use your voice to spread the Good News – The Gospel. We don’t want our children, our families, the lost to see any more about the evil one! We don’t need any more lies, doubt or confusion to fill the air. We don’t need anyone else believing God does not want them. Tell everyone, anyone – someone about how much God loves them! God loves us all – even those two performers – spread the message of God’s Love!!! God wins – God’s Love always wins!

To the hearts of every one,

Ulvade, Texas will never be the same – ever. Horrific does not adequately cover what happened to those precious children and brave teachers. This is an open letter to everyone, anyone that will take just a moment to scan the words.

Those precious children, those brave teachers – as believers we know – they are with God, safe, protected. This letter is not to challenge or try to explain why God allowed this epic tragedy to happen. This letter is a call out to everyone to turn your eyes upon Jesus and look full into His beautiful face.

At this moment, there are parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters, friends and community members that cannot hold their heads up, cannot breath easily without sharp pains to the heart because of the overwhelming grief. So many at this moment are battling for answers – we need to this, or we need to do that. We need Jesus.

None can go back and restore, bring back the day this happened and have it end differently. However, we can respond to this grief, this demonic act by turning to God and seek Him and His righteousness first – and He will add everything else we need. Everything any individual needs to walk with the broken hearted , God will provide. During these times of national crisis – and this is a national crisis of heart break – no one human can fix those mama’s and daddy’s hearts except folks that are willing to intercede on their behalf for God’s Peace that surpasses all understanding to go forth to bathe them in those prayers for healing.

No arguing over what could have been done, should be done or will be done is going to help – except that we join together as a nation and begin to join together as The Body of Christ and pray as long, as hard, as passionately as we can for God’s Hand to move over the community of Ulvade – and all the communities that have suffered at the hands of the demoniacs that have attacked innocent people as of late across America. This is not a plea of partisanship – there is no place for politics in this time and season. This is a call to God’s People to stand for Him and His Word as we all join in the prayer to help those that can not help themselves at this time. “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. “ (Psalm 30:5) None of us can determine how long the night will be for anyone that has suffered loss at the hands of a person who has been listening to voices not of God; but, we can pray that God will shorten the night for them – allow them to breath again, to remember the joy of their child, their adult loved one with a good memory.

Please join in praying for Ulvade brothers and sisters, and all the brothers and sisters that have lost loved ones due to someone’s not choosing to follow God’s Path. Pray that our nation will turn back to God in all ways, for all days.

What better message at Easter – “That God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)

We at Living Waters believe that God loves the whole world and everyone in it. We can do no less. God created each and every one of us, we are to love His children – all of them – equally. And at Living Waters – that is exactly what we do. It has come to light lately that a previous posting may have caused some concern about this very topic because there were references in that posting about a very controversial concept and we at Living Waters simply addressed the issue and let everyone know that we neither supported that issue, nor advocated for the issue because it stood 100 percent against God’s admonition to love one another. We have followed John 3:16 for almost 22 years at Living Waters, and we will continue to love all equally.

We can say, unequivocally, without reservation, that Living Waters is 100 percent for America because God put us here. However, it is a reality that there are some living in this great nation – given to us by God – and preserved for us by the blood of many American heroes –that are in this land that do not like, nor respect America nor the American way of life, and they have been allowed to have a very loud voice in America. Living Waters is not a part of that group, and it never will be. Our hope is that no one takes offense about this truth or twist these words to say that Living Waters does not welcome all.

It is important that for us to do our jobs at Living Waters, we have to have the freedom to use the Name of Jesus. It is imperative that we remain free to use the Name of Jesus. However, America is in a struggle today. It appears that right has become wrong, and wrong has become right. There are those that are working hard to make it illegal for us to use God’s Word in our counseling; these want Living Waters to become like the world – Godless. There are many issues that Living Waters does advocate for like life for the unborn, freedom of speech, and every word of The United States Constitution. “God gave His one and only Son…” for us, for America and for every other person and nation that calls on the Name above all Names - Jesus. We at Living Waters are not ashamed to let our values show; we stand on those values. We can do no less; these values were bought at a great cost, great sacrifice. We need to be free to speak about Jesus now and forever for ourselves, for our clients, for our families, and for this nation.

If anyone ever travels by Lady Liberty in New York City’s harbor, they will see “Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.” Living Waters exists to be near those that are tired, poor, and brokenhearted and we welcome all to our doors. It is our prayer that we will honor God by loving all His children. However, there comes a time when as Christian Americans, we need to speak out against anyone that tries to take away our freedoms and our liberty that was given to us in our Constitution. If our freedoms and liberty were to be taken away, how many more broken, poor, and weary would be at our doors? Your doors? Too many to think of in one reading!!

While we celebrate this Easter, the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior, let us not forget the great gift God gave – His one and only Son. Let us not forget that Jesus was sent so that we could have life eternal! Let us not forget God placed us in America to live our lives here to the best of our abilities, glorifying the Name above all Names – Jesus. For truly, it is only Jesus The Christ that can set America back to the nation God desired. Christians, do not be afraid to use your voices to stand up for the gift of America. While our country has been preserved by the blood of our families, Jesus bought us a place in eternity with His Blood! Do not be afraid to stand up when ever you need to speak the mighty Name of Jesus! Do not be afraid to be who God created you to be – a son or daughter in His Kingdom for His Kingdom’s Glory – right here in Henry County, in the State of Alabama, and the great nation of America! To God be ALL The GLORY!

Dear Lord,

We are but a few in this lovely, peaceful remote corner of the South, but our hearts are bound by Our Holy Father – God…which makes us powerful through The Holy Spirit. It is in The Mighty Name of Jesus, we come before You God, and we ask that You please bless the families of the fallen heroes of Afghanistan, the 13 Marines who sacrificially gave their lives for the lives of others. They completely fulfilled Your Word, “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends” (John 15:13). Most of us cannot run to the field of battle, but we as brothers and sisters in Christ can do as 2 Chronicles 7:14 tells us, “If my people, which are called by My Name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My Face and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

We can in our homes, on our jobs, in our churches, on the streets, in the market place, can call on You Father to allow the families of these heroes to feel Your Mighty, Loving Arms about them. Let them know their family member is with You, and is safe. Father, let us honor them, and You by seeking You more than we have ever sought You, and when we find You, may we be strong in sharing Your Gospel to the lost and bring revival to this land for Your Righteousness to reign. Father, this would honor those precious men and women, and it would help us to grow stronger and stronger in the only One that can help us in these days and times. Thank You Father for being with these precious families.

"So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness."
Colossians 2: 6-7 NIV

This oak tree has been a staple on the Headland square for many years and has been used by anxious teens taking pictures for proms, class officers, etc.....the roots for this tree are deep and strong! Although the roots are part of the tree, they take hold of the ground and earth beneath it which then anchors the tree to the point of being able to withstand mighty storms and winds. God reminds us in Colossians that our lives are to be rooted and built in Him. Without this anchor within our core, our foundation, we will not be able to successfully withstand the inevitable storms of life. Kingdom College is firmly committed to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. In the development of and now the daily administration of this college, we strive to ensure that our roots are nurtured and firmly established in God's Will.

How are you rooting your faith? The roots of faith are cultivated within the pages of God's Word. The process of sanctification and becoming more Christlike is a continual process of learning from the inspired and inerrant words of the Bible. Scripture is the love letter that we have straight from God showing the plan he put into motion from the creation of the universe. A plan to bring us back into relationship with Him though Jesus. Praise the Lord for that plan!!!

To all members of the Living Waters Family,

It is our mission at Living Waters Counseling to assist all people on their journey to healing because that is our Calling from God, "...to be near the broken hearted." We are here to serve all - equally. However, we are not here to promote one person or one person group over another.

We are bound to help based on the inerrant Word of God, and we will not back down or away from helping people based on the way and manner in which God has taught us to "Love ye one another." This means that we stand for every Word God has put forth for us because His Word is perfect, and there are no gray areas of confusion. Confusion is of the devil - not God. We will not bow our knee to voices of those that are demanding that one is better than the other; we will do things the way God has taught us. Loving everyone does not mean accepting or condoning decisions that are in complete opposition to His Word. Loving everyone means loving their created souls, maintaining the dignity of all people, and instructing them in the way and Word of God as they progress on their journey. People who have chosen agendas in direct opposition to God's Word will not be judged by us; they will be loved according to the way God has taught us through His Word.

Please know that we stand by God's Word first -which will be our forever priority, the Constitution of The United States of America, the value of the sanctity of life at conception, and equality for all people. These are the core principles that guide the work and the atmosphere of Living Waters. Please understand, that being Christ- like towards all peoples is always going to be our goal. Having said that, we find that no one group is deserving of any more value than any other group. When God gave us Jesus, He gave us Grace, and that Grace is for all peoples. We are all at the foot of the same Cross with no one person, or person group above the other.

We believe in the unifying power of The Holy Spirit, God's unconditional love, and God's Will for all His children. We will never support any concept or group that is working towards the divisiveness of God's people. We will forever stand on God's Word as our Guidance, our Strength, and our Peace.

Dear Readers,

In light of the recent events in Washington D.C., we find it necessary to not back down or back away from God's Plan for this nation, this globe. God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of a sound mind as it says in 2 Timothy. Having said that, we believe that many today are not using God's Wisdom, but the enemy's lies to guide this nation. Why? To take this nation away from God's Plan for America.

We can not, and will not encourage anyone to do anything but what Ephesians 6:13 "Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand." We are standing in the day of evil, and we all need to be found standing with His Armor on realizing that The Armor of God are all the attributes of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Did Jesus have righteous anger - yes He did. Therefore, for us to be angry at the lies of the enemy, the demonic deceitfulness of the enemy is acceptable in God's Sight. What we do with this anger is turn it to warring the spiritual battle with the tools God has given us! What we don't do - is give up - not now! Use God's Word to war against those in this nation now that will do all within their power to stop God's Word from going forth, and for His Plan to go forth over this nation.

It is not about a flesh and blood man - it is about Jesus Christ! Find yourself standing with your armor on - the Armor of God - and call upon The One that can make the difference. Moses did not see the path through the Red Sea, and Jesus was hung on the Cross - but - Moses went through the Red Sea and three days after The Crucifixion - ALL GLORY broke out - and we were saved. And it will be by the same Blood that was sacrificed for us then, that we will be saved today!

Do not give up! Do not back down! Do not be discouraged! Praise God from Whom ALL BLESSINGS FLOW. Do what Jehoshaphat did - go towards that battle praising God with all your might and all your hearts!! Storm Heaven with your praises and your requests. God has not stopped working miracles! He will save us!! Moses could not imagine what their rescue would look like - neither can we. Jesus told His disciples that He would be lifted up and that He would come back - and He is coming back. We have no idea what our rescue will look like from the demonic forces of our times, but we know God, and He has promised us, "I will never leave you nor forsake you!" Be found wearing that armor!!
