Family & Friends of Cedarwood Cemetery would like to thank our neighbors from
Union Beach Fire Department. They wrote…

Union Beach firefighters Jose Burgos Jr, Paul Kerwin, (members of Union Gardens Fire Company) and I (Diann Burgos) went out for several hours today to help clean up the cemetery. So many times we have driven by and thought this need to be cut in order for family members to visit their loved ones. We almost finished in one day and plan to return tomorrow.

Please do not leave old graveblankets by side if road. There is no garbage pickup. You need to dispose of them yourself.

Family & Friends of Cedarwood Cemetery,

Just a reminder that we are all responsible for removing & discarding all decorations since there is no maintenance being done at Cedarwood. We ask that you take whatever is there on your family plot home & discard with your household trash. Please don’t leave it in the road or under a bush and/or tree in the cemetery for someone else to clean up.

Cedarwood Cemetery Veterans 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Please reach out to Commander Ed Poplaski, American Legion Post 23 at 732-264-9450 ([email protected]) and ask why the Veterans of Cedarwood Cemetery are not being honored at the Memorial Day Services. St. Joseph’s & Green Grove are in Keyport but Shoreland is in Hazlet as is Cedarwood.

Now that the holidays are over just a reminder to remove your holiday decorations. We ask you to please take them home with you. There is NO garbage pick up or maintenance going on at Cedarwood at this time.
