June is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus—a Heart that burns with love for every soul.

While the world offers countless competing messages about identity, fulfillment, and happiness, the Heart of Christ quietly reminds us that our true worth is found in being loved by God and called His own.

No matter how far we wander, His Heart never stops seeking us. No matter how many times we fall, His mercy remains.

This month, let us draw closer to the Sacred Heart, entrust our families to His care, and discover anew the love that never fails.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.

Today, on her feast day, we honor Saint Rita of Cascia.

Known as the patron saint of lost and impossible causes, St. Rita endured tremendous suffering in her lifetime with remarkable faith and perseverance. Married at a young age to a harsh and difficult husband, she became a wife and mother who remained devoted to prayer even amid hardship. After the deaths of her husband and two sons, Rita entered the Augustinian convent in Cascia. She became known for her holiness, charity, and deep union with Christ.

She later received a wound on her forehead resembling the crown of thorns — a visible sign of her participation in the sufferings of Jesus. Following her death on May 22, 1457, many miracles were immediately reported through her intercession.

Today we ask for St. Rita’s prayers in all difficult situations, especially for those facing sickness, wounds, marital struggles, infertility, abuse, and seemingly impossible circumstances.

St. Rita of Cascia, pray for us. ❤️
