YOU MAY HAVE 70 OR 80 YEARS ON THIS EARTH.

You may spend decades chasing happiness.

You may build a career.
Make money.
Buy a house.
Enjoy pleasures.
Make memories.
Grow old surrounded by everything you worked for.

AND THEN—YOUR EARTHLY LIFE ENDS.

Not when you planned it.

Not when you felt ready.

Not when you finally had enough time.

YOUR YEARS HAVE A LIMIT.
ETERNITY DOES NOT.

“For all our days are passed away in thy wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told.” — Psalm 90:9 KJV

You can count your years.

You cannot count eternity.

You can measure a lifetime in decades.

BUT ETERNITY HAS NO END.

And this is where the warning becomes serious:

A FEW YEARS OF PLEASURE ARE NOT WORTH TRADING FOR AN ETERNITY OF REGRET.

“For he that soweth to the flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption...” — Galatians 6:8 KJV

The pleasures of sin may be temporary.

But the consequences of sin are not.

“For the wages of sin is death...” — Romans 6:23 KJV

Your money cannot save you.

Your good works cannot erase your sin.

Your religion cannot purchase eternal life.

Your morality cannot make you righteous before a holy God.

Your possessions cannot follow you into eternity.

“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” — Mark 8:36 KJV

SO HOW CAN A SINNER BE SAVED?

This is the GOOD NEWS.

God did not leave mankind without hope.

JESUS CHRIST CAME TO SAVE SINNERS.

He lived the righteous life that we could never live.

He willingly went to the cross.

He bore our sins.

He shed His blood.

He died in our place.

“For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God...” — 1 Peter 3:18 KJV

Christ did not merely make salvation possible.

HE PAID THE PRICE.

He took the judgment that our sins deserved.

His blood was shed for our redemption.

“In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace.” — Ephesians 1:7 KJV

THE BLOOD OF CHRIST IS PRECIOUS.

You cannot wash away your sins with money.

You cannot cleanse your conscience with religious ceremonies.

You cannot purchase forgiveness through good works.

Only Christ could pay the price for sin.

“Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold... But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.” — 1 Peter 1:18-19 KJV

CHRIST SHED HIS BLOOD.

CHRIST DIED FOR OUR SINS.

CHRIST WAS BURIED.

AND CHRIST ROSE AGAIN.

“For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received; how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.” — 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 KJV

THE WORK OF CHRIST IS FINISHED.

You do not need to add your good works to what Christ already accomplished.

You cannot earn what God offers as a gift.

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works...” — Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV

Salvation is not something you achieve.

IT IS SOMETHING YOU RECEIVE BY FAITH.

You are not saved because you became good enough.

YOU ARE SAVED BECAUSE CHRIST PAID THE PRICE YOU COULD NEVER PAY.

You are not saved by trusting in your own performance.

YOU ARE SAVED BY TRUSTING IN JESUS CHRIST AND HIS FINISHED WORK.

“He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.” — John 6:47 KJV

That is the Gospel.

Christ died for our sins.

Christ was buried.

Christ rose again.

His blood was shed for our redemption.

And eternal life is found in HIM.

You cannot go back and change your past.

But you can believe the Gospel today.

You cannot add another year to your life by your own power.

But while you still have breath, the Gospel is being proclaimed.

DO NOT WAIT FOR TOMORROW.

Tomorrow is not promised.

Your life is temporary.

Your body will grow old.

Your strength will fade.

Your possessions will remain behind.

One day, your earthly life will be over.

BUT ETERNITY WILL NOT BE OVER.

So don't spend your temporary life living as though this world is all there is.

DON'T TRADE FOREVER FOR WHAT LASTS ONLY A MOMENT.

DON'T EXCHANGE ETERNITY FOR PLEASURE.

DON'T TRUST IN YOUR MONEY.

DON'T TRUST IN YOUR GOOD WORKS.

DON'T TRUST IN YOUR RELIGION.

DON'T TRUST IN YOURSELF.

TRUST IN JESUS CHRIST.

TRUST IN HIS SHED BLOOD.

TRUST IN HIS FINISHED WORK.

The question is not whether you have 70 or 80 years.

The question is:

WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY?

YOU HAVE YEARS.

BUT YOU DO NOT HAVE FOREVER ON THIS EARTH.

ETERNITY IS COMING.

CHRIST HAS ALREADY PAID THE PRICE.

HIS BLOOD WAS SHED FOR SINNERS.

BELIEVE THE GOSPEL.

TRUST IN CHRIST.

TRUST HIS FINISHED WORK.

RECEIVE THE GIFT OF ETERNAL LIFE.

AND DO NOT TRADE FOREVER FOR A FEW YEARS OF PLEASURE.

The saddest truth is not that life will end—it is that eternity is real, and every person will one day stand before God.

Revelation 20:15 carries a powerful warning: “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”

This verse reminds us that our choices matter. We can spend our lives chasing money, success, recognition, comfort, and the approval of people, but none of these things can save our souls. The most important question is not how much we have gained in this world, but where we will spend eternity.

There is still time to turn back to God. There is still time to repent, to seek His forgiveness, to surrender our pride, and to place our faith in Jesus Christ. Do not wait until the final moment to realize what truly matters.

The image of the Book of Life should not simply frighten us—it should wake us up. Let it remind us that today is an opportunity to choose God, to live faithfully, to love others, to forgive, and to walk according to His Word.

Earthly treasures will fade. Human applause will disappear. Our time on this earth will pass. But eternity will never end.

So while you still have breath, seek God.
While your heart can still respond, surrender to Him.
While there is still time, choose the path of faith, repentance, and obedience.

Don’t gamble your eternity for temporary pleasures.

🙏 Jesus is calling. Listen while there is still time.
🔥 What matters most is not what you possess in this life, but whether your name is written in the Book of Life.
