Last of items removed from St. John Bosco Church, Harvey. Time capsule recovered -- seeking a good occasion to solemnly open it. Pavers brought to MHC Church -- contemplated use around Bosco's outdoor Mary Help of Christians Shrine as repositioned at MHC --suggestions needed regarding placement at MHC -- notification will be given for those who want to reclaim their pavers. Bosco's Sanctuary Crucifix has been taken down and brought to MHC. Contemplated placement in MHC Hall.
To take down the crucifix, the altar has to be taken apart. There were no visible relics inside the altar. There is a possibility that the top slab of the altar could be cut into smaller pieces available for former parishioners of St. John Bosco. What do you think?
