Feed the HART' food pantry has been blessed by the Girl Scouts!
On Tuesday, March 31st, Girl Scout Troop 10759 came for a tour of our Outreach programs to learn about how we are helping the community here in Hartford. Not only did this troop of young ladies come to visit, but they also lent their hands to help us stock shelves in the pantry with the unbelievable amount of donations (toiletries) they had brought with them!
In return, as a "Thank You!", we were prepared to gift them with two special patches that were well deserved and earned! The first was a “Community Service” patch, and the other was “Kindness Matters” patch.
We are praying that Girl Scout Troop 10759 returns to South Church soon, so that we may continue to grow our relationship, to further our partnership in order to serve the community together again in the future!

Gather with us TOMORROW, Saturday January 17th from 9am-Noon as we set up shop on the sidewalks in front of our historic meetinghouse, right here at 277 Main Street in Hartford, to spread the Gospel, and delve out some GIFTS OF WARMTH!
Join us in handing out HATS, GLOVES, JACKETS, MITTENS, “HOT HANDS”, SCARVES, SOCKS…as well as HOT COFFEE or HOT CHOCOLATE!
Many of us are blessed with warm homes, warm vehicles, warm jobs and warm clothes. It would shock a lot of folks to find out how many people really are in need of warmth during these brisk Winter months. Help us to help our community, our neighbors and our friends, by providing what we can to aid them in staying warm throughout the season!
BE A BLESSING!

Shoprite is having its Annual Can Can Sale this week!!!

Sale restrictions only permit a certain limit of deals per purchase. Please consider helping out our pantry by stopping by shoprite and picking up some of these items! Items can be dropped off in the main office at South Church, Hartford 277 Main st (John St entrance)

Help us "Cram the Van" this Saturday, November 8th, between 10am and 2pm!
We are collecting food donations to help fill the shelves at the South Church Hartford, "Feed the HART" food pantry!
We currently have near 300 families registered to use the food pantry and are in need of all perishable and non perishable food items!
Please help us in our mission to help the Hartford Community, in the fight against food insecurity!

Due to our inability to keep up with the increase of need, we are sorry to say we are currently unable to accept any NEW pantry applicants until further notice.

If you are NOT currently registered with Feed the HART and are in need of food assistance, please contact the Church Office (860) 249-8627 or email us [email protected] so we can direct you to a place with more resources.

Tomorrow is Trunk or Treat Day!
Bring the kids over in their costumes for a fun and safe night of trick or treating in our church parking lot from 5-7pm!
Grown-ups can dress up too!!!
We will have candy and goodies for all who attend!

Join us for TRUNK or TREAT, right here at South Church on Wednesday, October 29th, from 5-7pm!

In our parking lot on John Street, we will have a number of car trunks FULLY DECORATED and ready to dish out candy for the costumed!
