New Union Church

New Union Church New Union Church welcomes all, Come on out and Worship with us at 10 AM Sundays. The year was 1780. We are a place where you can come and grow with Christ!

The place was on the western frontier of the newly established United States of America, Davie County, North Carolina. A society of believers had been established, a circuit preacher made regular stops and the Rev. Francis Asbury, soon to become the Bishop of the newly established Methodist Episcopal Church in America, stopped for a visit and preaching. The roots of New Union Church were establish

ed during the “beginnings” of a new nation and a new American denomination through preaching and organizing efforts out of Beal’s Brush Arbor and Meeting House. Some years later in the midst of civil war, people of New Union roots once again had to evaluate their identity; they chose for unity rather than division.You are already a part of a geographical community, neighborhood or town. But are you part of a group of people who watch out for one another, support each other in difficult times, and celebrate good times? At New Union Church ,we want to be a place where everyone is accepted and feels a sense of belonging. Come see if we are the place for you! Christ be with you!
