🌎 WORLD COMMUNION SUNDAY

Tomorrow at 10:00 a.m., come to Christ’s table with Christians around the world. Across languages, cultures, and traditions, we gather as one family in faith — and there is a place for you.

Here in Hanalei, worship is rooted in this Hawaiian place. Come hear Hawaiian language and hymns, the ringing of our historic mission bell, Scripture, prayer, and the sharing of Communion.

Rev. Dr. Mark Po**en will lead us in worship.

Bring the keiki! Our Children’s Moment includes stories, songs, a little magic, and prizes.

Whether you live on Kauaʻi or are visiting our island, you are welcome.

Come and see.

We’re still here. 🤍

The storm changed our landscape. Trees came down. Stained glass was lost. There is still plenty of work ahead.

But this Sunday, the doors will be open, the hymns will be sung, the Hawaiian language will fill the sanctuary, our keiki will have their Children’s Moment, and neighbors will gather side by side.

After the weeks we’ve had, maybe that’s exactly what we need.

Come tired. Come grateful. Come curious. Come as you are.

“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28 (ESV)

At 5:15 this morning, I saw four hōkūlele—shooting stars—streak across the Hanalei sky! Look up tonight as the Perseid meteor shower peaks beneath dark, moonless skies.

This Sunday, Kahu Mark continues his series on the Psalms with Psalm 8—a beautiful reminder that the God who created the heavens, moon, and stars is mindful of us.
