We don’t have many photos to share from this semester, but we were still blessed to have had opportunities to gather safely and also provide online options for when that wasn’t possible. COVID threw many of our plans for a loop, but we still stayed connected through Large Group gatherings, small group Bible studies, one on one conversations about faith, group prayer chain messages, individual prayers… and on and on.

We didn’t always walk in faith. Oftentimes we stumbled. But, not only does God’s love cover our uncertainty and doubt, in addition we have one another to lean on as we walk through hard times. May we remember the blessing of our faith community as we reflect on 2020 and enter 2021. Amen.

WE ARE SO SORRY!

We’ve neglected to update our page for this whole semester, so here are some photos ranging from August to October!

We have been busy on campus. Our mission to reach campus for Christ hasn’t changed, but the way we do so safely has been an adjustment this year. We are so grateful for weeks upon weeks of great weather that enabled us to safely meet outdoors for both Large Group and Small Group Bible studies. We are so encouraged by the returning students remaining invested and a great group of new students that have found community in IV. We are actively planning for the rest of the semester with several contingency plans based on how things go.

Please pray that we continue to keep our eyes set on Jesus, loving others as he demonstrated to us. Pray for our members and friends that fear COVID, that we would all find both peace and security in all of our circumstances. Lift up faculty and staff as they make plans, backup plans, and backup plans to the backup plans. Pray for the FC administration and wisdom to lead us well.

Lord, we thank you for the gift of community and for your unfailing love that reassures us in a semester of unknowns. Thank you for revealing yourself to us here on earth. Be with us and bless us, your children. In the name of your Son, Amen.

We really enjoyed having Pastor Brock Graham with us for large group this week! It was a joy to hear him get real about what it can look like to live sacrificially & represent Christ in all that we do.

“However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.”

Our friends Cambria, Abby, Natalie, and Mara had a great weekend at Greek Conference!

Here’s what IV leader Natalie Wilson had to say: “This weekend was amazing. I got to grow closer with the other girls that went and got to see what leading a bible study in our chapter should look like. I’m excited to reach out and start growing our Greek ministry here at franklin. And I’m excited to see how our Greek community can grow through Christ!”
