The Greenville Unit was well represented at the Southeast Regional Assembly! We are proud of Andrea Foster, Margaret Fields, Maxcean Lawton, Martha Bray and Catherine Davis for representing our unit with grace, dedication, and a spirit of unity.

Members of Church Women United Greenville Unit were proud to attend the Southeast Regional Assembly held in Jackson, Mississippi.

Representing the Greenville Unit were Catherine Davis, 2nd Vice President; Maxcean Lawton, Greenville Unit President; Margaret Fields, Secretary; Martha Bray, Mississippi State President; and Andrea Foster.

We were especially proud to celebrate our very own Betty Jo Boyd, who was honored with the Valiant Woman Award! Congratulations, Betty Jo, on this well-deserved recognition! 🎉❤️

We're deeply thankful to Rev. Jesse King and Zion Baptist Church for hosting our May Friendship Day celebration, shining a light on the urgent need for fair and equitable housing and empowering us to work together towards transformative change. Join us today, Wednesday April 1, at the community Lenten Lunch at First Methodist (402 Washington Avenue) here in Greenville. Lunch will be served starting at 11:30 followed by music and a meditation. Our Presbyterian Women are providing the delicious meal. Plates are $10 with all proceeds going to our local Boys & Girls Club. Come and bring a friend!

Church Women United extends heartfelt gratitude to Percy Library for the generous use of their meeting room. Our gathering was a resounding success, and the staff was warm and welcoming.

During our time together, we joyfully reflected on our 2025 accomplishments and envisioned plans for our 2026 celebrations. We appreciate the inspiring reports from President Maxcean Lawton, Dr. Loretta Shannon, 1st VP, Catherine Davis, 2nd VP, and Martha Bray, treasurer.
