Save the Date for a special women's event on Saturday, July 11 at 9:30 am to 12:30 pm!
Every Christian woman likely knows the story of Mary and Martha and may have heard a sermon or two suggesting we become more like a Mary and less like a Martha. However, both women encountered depression, misery, and loss that challenged their faith in unique ways. A closer look at how Jesus ministered to each sister gives us practical ways in which we can move from worry to worship whether we tend to be a Mary or a Martha.
Our guest speaker, Jennifer McDaniel, is married to John McDaniel, Pastor of Music and Worship Arts at Highland Terrace Baptist Church. As a Certified Child Life Specialist and Pastor’s wife, her focus is helping families build Biblical foundations of faith to develop hope, purpose, and resiliency in Jesus for enduring and worshipping through life’s challenges.
