The Biblical narrative is filled with memorials, feasts, sacred remembrances, genealogies, patriarchs, matriarchs, ancestors, prophets, saints, and stories passed from one generation to the next.

Passover remembers.

Purim remembers.

Hanukkah remembers.

The Feast of Tabernacles remembers.

Holy Communion remembers.

The ancient biblical world understood that a people who forget their history eventually FORGET THEMSELVES!

Yet many of us were taught that remembering our own ancestors is somehow dangerous!?!

Think about that.

If remembering Abraham is holy…

If remembering Moses is holy…

If remembering the prophets is holy…

If remembering Black Jesus is holy…

If remembering the saints is holy…

Why is it that suddenly remembering your grandmother is now DEMONIC?!?

Maybe the issue isn’t the Bible.

Maybe the issue is that many of us inherited a version of the Bible disconnected from the culture, history, and ancestral consciousness of the ancient world.

Perhaps it’s time to stop reading the Book through the lens of colonial fear and start reading it through the lens of historical context, and decolonized consciousness.

The question isn’t whether ancestors are in the Bible.

The question is how did we become so disconnected from something that was there all along?!

From Genesis to Revelation, the biblical narrative is built upon lineage, memory, inheritance, family, ancestors, patriarchs, matriarchs, and descendants.

The God of Israel repeatedly identifies Himself as:

“I AM The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.” ~ Exodus 3:6

The Bible meticulously preserves genealogies, family histories, tribal identities, memorial feasts, and sacred stories passed orally from one generation to the next generation.

Yet many people have been indoctrinated and programmed to believe that honoring their own holy ancestors is somehow forbidden.

How did we GET HERE to become comfortable remembering biblical ancestors while being AFRAID to remember our very own?!?!?

Perhaps the issue is not the Bible entirely itself.

Perhaps the issue is how colonialism trained many of us to read the Bible disconnected from the culture and worldview in which it was written. Text without context!

The Bible is not merely a book of individual salvation.

It is also a story of a people, a lineage, and a sacred memory carried across generations, time and space.

It’s time to Re-read the Book with fresh eyes and a decolonized mind!

Beloveds, Every First Sunday, millions gather around a sacred table covered in white cloth. Bread is broken. Wine is poured. Prayers are offered. Songs are sung. Stories are told about a beloved spiritual elder who now dwells in the heavenly realm.

This practice is called Holy Communion (Holy Eucharist).

Yet many of the same people who participate in Communion condemn others for creating ancestral altars, lighting candles for departed loved ones, keeping photos of ancestors, pouring libations, or honoring those who came before them.

My dear, Why is remembrance sacred in one context and Wholly condemned in another?

Yeshua aka Black Jesus said:

“Do this in remembrance of me.”

Perhaps it is time to have an honest conversation about memory, remembrance, veneration, and the role of the holy ancestors within spiritual traditions.

What if it is a sacred transition?

The Kongo Cosmogram teaches that after Tukula—the season of power and purpose—comes Luvemba and Musoni.

Most people fear these stages because they feel like loss, extremely silent, emptiness, and uncomfortable.

🌇 LUVEMBA is the season of the setting sun.

The season of endings/transitions.

The relationship ends.

The job ends.

The chapter ends.

The old version of you comes to an end.

But in Kongo and African Indigenous wisdom, endings are not failures.

They are transformations.

And after which..Then comes…

🌑 MUSONI.

The hidden realm.

The sacred darkness.

The womb before rebirth.

The cocoon experience!

This is the season where nothing appears to be happening on the surface .

Yet beneath the surface everything is rapidly changing.

Always remember, Seeds grow underground before they break through the soil.

A child develops in the womb before the world ever sees it in the light of day.

A butterfly is formed in darkness before it takes final flight.

The world calls it being stuck.

Spirit calls it preparation.

Perhaps what you’re grieving had to end.

Perhaps what feels like delay is actually spiritual and natural development.

Perhaps you are not being buried.

Perhaps you are being planted in the soil for stability☝🏾🔔

One of the GREATEST mistakes people make is assuming that every season of change is a season of confusion or chaos .

🌅 Kala is the SUNRISE season of life.

The beginning.

The awakening.

🚨 THEY HID AFRICA IN THE CHURCH. 🚨

Beloveds, Welcome back to The Temple Porch For Spiritual Chats W/ The Conscious Oracle 🔮

What if I told you that the Ring Shout was more than just worship?

What if the circles our ancestors walked, shouted in, the songs they sang, and the rhythms they carried were preserving an ancient African and indigenous understanding of life, spirit, death, rebirth, and the ancestral realm?

The our Holy Ancestors were stripped of many things—but they were not stripped of sacred memory.

Sacred Memory survived in movement.

Sacred Memory survived in song.

Sacred Memory survived in sacred circles.

THE PROBLEM ISN’T THE HOUSE… IT’S THE FOUNDATION☝🏾 (Part 2)

Beloveds, Many people want the blessings, but few want the solid foundation.

They want successful relationships without healing FIRST!

They want thriving businesses without the discipline required.

They want powerful ministries without the character it takes to sustain it.

They want financial abundance without wisdom.

They want spiritual power without internal transformation.

Psalm 127 reminds us:

“Except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it.”

And Yeshua aka Black Jesus teaches in Matthew 7 that the storm comes to both houses. The difference is not the storm.

The difference is the foundation.

The winds will blow.
The rain will fall.
The floods will come.

But what is built upon Divine Principle, spiritual discipline, wisdom, integrity, and conscious alignment will remain standing when everything else collapses!

Before asking God to enlarge your territory…

Ask yourself:

What foundation am I truly building upon?

Because the issue isn’t the dream.

The issue is what the dream is built upon! ☝🏾
