This Week at Dominion!

There’s a place for everyone to grow this week at Dominion.

Wednesday night is Discipleship Night with classes for adults and youth. Adults will study “Timothy, a Leader with a Legacy” — 2 Timothy 1:1–6, while our youth will gather for NextWave with Isaac.

Wednesday: 7:00–8:30 PM
Saturday Prayer: 9:00–10:00 AM
Sunday Worship: 10:00 AM

And Sunday, we continue our ROOTED series from Psalm 1:1–3.

🌱 ROOTED | BUILD WITH BRICKS 🧱

This past Sunday, August 23rd, we continued our ROOTED Series. Pastor Sonja Sloan ministered from Psalm 1:1–3 and used the familiar story of The Three Little Pigs to illustrate a powerful spiritual truth:

WHAT YOU BUILD WITH MATTERS.

The storm came to every house—but not every house was built with material strong enough to withstand it.

The same is true spiritually.

You don’t wait until the storm comes to start building. You build BEFORE the storm—one brick at a time.

🧱 Prayer is a brick.
🧱 The Word is a brick.
🧱 Worship is a brick.
🧱 Fasting is a brick.
🧱 Obedience is a brick.
🧱 Christian community is a brick.

Spiritual disciplines practiced consistently build strength and stability into our lives so that when the storms come, we can stand.

Here’s what’s happening this week at Dominion!

Wednesday, continue growing with us through Dominion Discipleship at Home. This week’s focus is “Saul of Tarsus: The Unlikely Apostle.” Read Acts 22:3–15 and discover how God can transform an unlikely person into a powerful vessel for His purpose.

Saturday, join us for Morning Prayer from 9:00–10:00 AM.

Sunday, our ROOTED series continues! Sunday School begins at 9:00 AM, followed by Worship Service at 10:00 AM. Children’s Church will be available.
