Our fifth day of Rainforest Falls was FULL of BRIGHT FUTURES! 😎

🐒 Howie the Howler Monkey helped us learn that "God is FOREVER...WOW, GOD!"

🌟 In Rooted Bible Adventures, we heard the story of God giving John a vision of Heaven! (Revelation 7:17; 21-22)

✝️ Our Bible verse for today was Psalm 115:18, "But we can praise the Lord both now and forever! Praise the Lord!"

🌴 Thank you to all our families for supporting Operation Kids-to-Kid's "Planting Hope" mission this week! Together, we raised $641.93 ... that supports so many families with new fruit trees! WOW, WEST SIDE LOTO & WOW, GOD!!!

Join us for 🎉Family Fun Night🎉for LOTO West Side Community VBS TONIGHT at 6pm! We start in the WLCC Sanctuary upstairs at 6pm for a musical program of favorite VBS moments, followed by dinner and bake sale downstairs on the Loehr Center!

Our fourth day of Rainforest Falls was FULL of LOVE! 🥰

🐜 Tia the Giant Anteater helped us learn that "God is LOVE...WOW, GOD!"

💘 In Rooted Bible Adventures, we heard the story of Jesus' death and coming back to life to show us God's love! (Luke 22:39-24:12)

✝️ Our Bible verse for today was Psalm 103:22, "Praise the Lord, everything he has created, everything in all his kingdom."

🌴 The kids surpassed their mission goal!!! There is ONE more day to support Operation Kids-to-Kid's "Planting Hope" mission. Tomorrow, we announce the total raised they raised, and which leader is getting wet!

Our third day of Rainforest Falls was FULL of SHELTER!

🐆 Dottie the Ocelot helped us learn that "God is our SAFE PLACE...WOW, GOD!"

🫣 In Rooted Bible Adventures, we heard the story of David hiding from King Saul. (1 Samuel 23-24)

✝️ Our Bible verse for today was Psalm 142:5, "Then I pray to you, O Lord. I say, 'You are my place of refuge.'"

🌴 We have two more days to reach our mission goal for Operation Kid-to-Kid's Planting Hope! Anyone who wants to participate may send in donations the rest of the week!

🐸 Seymour the See-Through Glass Frog helped us learn that "God knows everything...WOW, GOD!"

🥳 In Rooted Bible Adventures, we saw David's celebration of all God knows! (Psalm 139)

✝️ Our Bible verse for today was Psalm 139:1 "O Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me."

🌴 Operation Kid-to-Kid's "Planting Hope" mission started today! To add an element of fun, the donations will also "vote" which of 3 VBS Staff will get splashed at the end of the week!

🌍 In Rooted Bible Adventures, we heard the story of God creating the universe, creatures, and people! (Genesis 1)

✝️ Our Bible verse for today was Psalm 103:22, "Praise the Lord, everything he has created, everything in all his kingdom."

VBS is almost here!

The hosting church is kicking off the week with a an Indoor "Outdoor" camp style worship to pray over VBS staff and families. We welcome you to join us!

Join us this Sunday for our VBS Kickoff Worship Service as West Lake Christian Church is transformed into Rainforest Falls!

Together we'll celebrate God's amazing creation through joyful worship and officially kick off this year's VBS theme:

Into the Rainforest – Exploring God's Nature

During the service, we'll also take time to pray over and bless our VBS volunteers, leaders, and all the children who will be part of this year's adventure.

If you'll be attending Rainforest Falls VBS—even if your family is part of one of our partner churches—we'd love to have you join us for this special kickoff service!

We have filled all our crews--Thank you and thanks, God!
Registration has closed for this summer, but there is still so much fun to be had.

Come join us to wrap up the week with a community Family Fun Night! July 24th at West Lake Christian Church--6pm Musical Program of our favorite VBS songs, buddy lessons, & memories--followed by a relaxed community style dinner downstairs in the WLCC Loehr Center. Bake Sale by donation available to support the Ministerial Alliance VBS program next year!
