COMMUNITY SUPPORT FOR PATRICIA PLANK

Congregational Announcement
A member of our community, Patricia Plank, recently experienced a house fire and lost their home. We are holding them in care and offering practical support during this time.

We are collecting a love offering here at the church to help with immediate needs. If you feel called to support in that way, you are welcome to contribute in person or via Zelle or Venmo.

If you would like to help in other ways, please check with the church office so support can be coordinated with care and respect.

Thank you for being a community that shows up with compassion.

CHRISTMAS DAY POTLUCK AT UNITY!

Christmas is such a beautiful time of year for so many reasons, and we know that not everyone has family nearby or the ability to travel. If you find yourself wanting to spend Christmas with the warmth of community—we invite you to join us for a joyful Christmas Day Potluck here at Unity in the Gold Country Spiritual Center.

Come share time with others in an atmosphere of love, connection, and of course, delicious food! Please bring a dish to share and your own utensils, as we want to keep things simple and avoid dish-washing on Christmas Day.

This year, we’re adding something truly special as we weave threads of Solstice into the Christmas Eve experience.

It will be an especially magical evening for the children—and a beautiful way for all of us to welcome the Light of the season.

Using dream dialogue, journaling, and simple practices you can repeat on your own, you’ll gain tools for self-discovery, problem-solving, and emotional healing.

As many of you know, I love sharing with you all some of the deeply profound teachings I have experienced and that includes introducing you to some of my cherished mentors. Martha Creek is one in a million. Raw, real, wise and funny as heck. I know the power of being in her presence. She's taught me so much -- some in an official capacity at seminary, and even more by being in her midst, which is a master class on being in relationship in deep loving connection with others AND the Self. I hope you get as much joy from her funny no-nonsense delivery and have at least 1 (if not oodles) of a-ha’s, or awakenings. Let's dive into this deceptively simple, life transforming material!

ENERGY HEALING CLINICS EXPAND!

Unity’s team of energy healing practitioners has expanded to offer several new modalities for the Sunday October 12, 2025 clinic. The Energy Healing Clinics offer 40 minute sessions at 2pm, 3pm and 4pm with a $20 suggested donation to Unity in the Gold Country, but any donation is welcome. No one with an appointment is turned away.

Modalities and practitioners for October 12 include: *Oracle Card Reading with Katharine Beatty; *Iridology Reading with Carrie L’Esperance; *Functional Symmetry with Gabriel Clark; *Adjust & Align Physical Therapy with Pam Strong; *Body Talk with Patricia Haller; *Acupressure with Mary Huse; *Hypnotherapy and Life Path Counseling with Mara Evans; *Reiki with Kristie Stevens and Peter Froelich; *Healing Touch with Julia Hamilton; *Hypnotherapy with Theresia Evans.
