Battling cancer is about more than chemo, radiation, and surgery. It’s also about courage, and strength, and hope! Many people of all faiths, indeed even those with no prior faith, turn to prayer when they, or their loved ones, face a diagnosis of cancer – for courage, strength, and hope.
In conjunction with Pelotonia, this year Pelotonia Prayer Flags personalized with prayers, inspirations, messages of hope, and memories of loved ones lost will be displayed in Granville’s Opera House Park from August 3-9. The flags are modeled after Tibetan prayer flags, and Tibetan tradition holds that the messages written on the flags are blown into space where everyone who comes into contact with them benefits from the goodwill and compassion reflected. Imagine the power of hundreds even thousands of Pelotonia Prayer Flags soaring in the breeze, and the courage, strength, and hope it will give to those impacted by cancer.
Add your flag and your inspiration by going to www.pelotoniaprayerflag.org.
If you are a Peloton captain or a solo rider and want to use prayer flags to raise money for your Peloton or personal commitment, message me for details about how to do that.
A tribute to anyone whose life has been affected by cancer.
