Even more sectionals for those who are registered for the daytime activities: the morning sections include:

Why Women Need to be Theologians
Jen Eriks
Theology is not just for dusty thick books, preachers, or old, bearded European men whose pictures hang in seminary libraries. Theology is knowing God, and knowing God is important for life. But do women really need to know theology? Absolutely yes! This is a call to be women who love the Word, who know God personally, and live in a way that glorifies Him. We'll discuss how knowing God and His attributes changes how we live, how we scroll, how we mother, how we see ourselves in the mirror, and more.

The Busyness of Families today. What is at Stake for the Future?
Kurt Kaptein
Consider the importance of family togetherness, the opportunity of activities in our daily lives and the biblical examples of how we can live Christlike as we make decisions in our daily living on behalf of our families and Christ's church.

PRCA Churches and Ministers History
Prof. Doug Kuiper
This sectional will cover the PRCA Churches and Ministers over the course of our history. We’ll be reminded of many men and churches in the past that we might have forgotten about.

Helping Each Other
Rev. Gary Eriks
As we face struggles, conflict, controversy, and disagreements, what is our response? This will focus on how we can encourage each other through trying times.

1953: History
Prof Russ Dykstra
A study of the 1953 split, focused on the history.

1953: Doctrine of the Covenant
Prof Russ Dykstra
A study of the 1953 split, focused on the doctrine of the covenant.

What a great opportunity to learn and discuss such a wide variety of topics. Please check https://prca100.org/sectionals/ for more details.

“Each generation to the next shall testimony bear, and to Thy praise, from age to age, Thy wondrous acts declare. Upon Thy glorious majesty and honor I will dwell, and all Thy grand and glorious works and all Thy greatness tell.”

You are invited to join in celebrating God’s grace and goodness toward the PRC from June 2nd - 6th, 2025 at Calvin University. A week of fellowship and events are planned, including speeches on grace: teaching, living, and defending grace. This is an event for you, your family, your friends, and your church. It’s an event where we can gather together and praise God.

We encourage you, your families, and your congregation to register soon for the 100th. Though the 100th may seem far away it is important for you to register now, as all registration closes February 14, 2025. Whether you are planning to stay overnight (which is encouraged as the best experience to establish and strengthen friendships with like-minded believers from around the world) or just visiting during the day, the steering committee needs people to register so they can finalize their plans for programs and activities, as well as properly staff the event.

The speeches in the evening will include special numbers, like the Kingdom Voices mass choir, but many other activities have been planned for the week as well. Break-out sessions loosely connected to the theme, stories of grace, are being put together. These will include stories about mission work, our sister church in the Philippines, and pursuing the calling to the ministry. Youth Bible camps are also being planned for K-12 with topics centered around the theme of growing in Grace. These camps will encourage the youth to look to God, follow Him, and live for Him. Many activities and games, from traditional athletics games to lawn golf and scavenger hunts, are being planned for the week and registering will help the committees firm up their plans for the event. There will even be tours throughout the week featuring early Dutch life in Holland, the Eastern Ave CRC, old First PRC, Riverbend, and the Seminary.

Brothers and sisters in Christ, God’s abundant grace shown to us is worth celebrating. It is what God has done! Grace has been the hallmark of the PRC from her very inception. Throughout our history there are many stories of grace. In 1924 it was a story of God’s uncommon grace. In 1953 it was a story of God’s unconditional grace. Stories of God’s grace are found in every church and family; without a doubt, you also have stories of God’s grace in your life. Let us reflect on these stories and look forward, with hope, to a future guided by His sustaining grace.

So don’t put it off for another week - register now before the February 14 close at www.prca100.org ! Get some friends from church to register with you and prepare for a fantastic week of faith, fellowship, and fun.

All the members of the PRCA, our sister churches, and close contacts are encouraged to come together at Calvin University to participate in this commemorative week.

Let’s join together to thank God for His grace and goodness to the PRC through the past 100 years. It is edifying for us to gather in unity to praise God, meditate on His grace, and grow in our faith and love. A variety of spiritual and recreational activities are planned including speeches on teaching, living, and defending God’s grace. All the members of the PRCA, our sister churches, and close contacts are encouraged to participate in this commemorative week, June 2-6, 2025 at Calvin University Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Register for the whole time or for separate days at

When registering, you can indicate that you’d like to be contacted about a potential tracel stipend to help cover the costs for you to travel to the event. This is available for any registrants outside of Michigan.
