🕊️ Has “pro-life” lost its meaning?

Our own Alissa Hollander offers a sobering reflection in this article: over time, the term pro-life has been broadened so widely that its core—opposition to abortion—is in danger of being eclipsed. 

She argues that while it’s good and right to care about issues like poverty, the environment, immigration, etc., these concerns must flow from the foundational conviction that life begins in the womb. Redefining “pro-life” to include everything risks diluting what once was clear and urgent.

Through listening, advocacy, and bold compassion, these men and women are standing for the preborn, walking alongside women in crisis, and pointing to the healing heart of God.

One month ago, we gathered under the theme “The Way of the Life-Giver”—and what a night it was!

At our 2025 LIFE International banquet, we were reminded that God’s redemptive movement for life is advancing for all nations and all generations, beginning with the preborn. It was a faith-filled evening of worship, stories, and vision for the future.

We had the privilege of hearing from Eric Metaxas, who challenged us to live courageously and speak boldly into this cultural moment. His words stirred hearts and pointed us back to the unshakable truth of the gospel and the value of every human life.
