A Holy Spirit–Led Ministry Serving With the Heart of Jesus

Spirit Led Ministries (SLM) is a Holy Spirit–led, nonprofit religious outreach ministry committed to sharing the love of Jesus

Christ through both practical assistance and Spirit-filled community. We exist to fulfill the call of Matthew 25:40 — “Whatever you did for one of the least of these My brothers and sisters, you did for Me.”

Our foundation is built on the example of the early believers in Acts 2:42–47, who devoted themselves to teaching, fellowship, breaking bread, prayer, and meeting one another’s needs. Our Mission

We serve individuals and families facing hardship by offering practical, compassionate support such as:

Gas cards

Wave card reloads (local transportation assistance)

Food support

Gently used clothing, shoes, bedding (excluding mattresses), and small household essentials

Every service we provide is completely free of charge, including pickup of donated items and delivery to those in need. We give freely because Scripture says, “Freely you have received; freely give.” (Matthew 10:8)

Our approach to practical ministry reflects the heart of Acts 4:34–35, where believers shared resources so “there were no needy persons among them.” This Scripture beautifully mirrors our desire to help ensure that no one in our community walks alone or feels forgotten. Our Heart for Community

SLM is more than an outreach — it is a ministry dedicated to building a Christ-centered community where:

The broken find comfort (Psalm 34:18)

The weary are renewed in the Lord (Isaiah 40:31)

The overlooked discover that God sees them (Genesis 16:13)

Believers grow together in faith, unity, prayer, and fellowship

We are actively developing a ministry culture modeled after Acts 2, where generosity, worship, teaching, and shared meals strengthen the Body of Christ and reveal the heart of God. Our commitment aligns with James 2:15–17, which reminds us that faith is alive when it meets real needs with real action — not just words. Why We Serve

We boldly declare that Spirit Led Ministries is fertile ground. Those who partner with us help fulfill 2 Corinthians 9:12 —
“This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of the Lord’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God.”

Our purpose is simple:
to reveal Jesus through love in action, to walk alongside people in their journey, and to demonstrate the Kingdom of God through Spirit-led compassion. As 1 John 3:18 calls us:
“Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.”

When the Trigger Comes, Go Tell Your Father 😮‍💨🕊️

Listen…

The trigger is not the ruler.
The trigger is the revealer.

It shows what still hurts.
It shows what still needs healing.
It shows what still wants control.
It shows what needs to be surrendered to the Holy Spirit.

But just because something gets triggered does not mean the flesh gets to take the wheel.

This one is about learning how to be uncomfortable without being governed by the discomfort.

So when the trigger comes, say it out loud:

I don’t agree. Absolutely not. Immediately no.

Then go tell your Father.
Ask Holy Spirit what was exposed.
Be still.
Praise.
Worship.
Speak what your Father has already said.

Because your mouth does not belong to the trigger.

Your mouth belongs to Jesus Christ.

Governed, Not Triggered: Your Trigger, Your Responsibility

Being triggered does not give us permission to be reckless with our words, our tone, or our responses.

This week’s devotional is a heart check and a call to maturity: we are not called to be governed by emotions, wounds, or reactions. We are called to be governed by the Holy Spirit.

Your trigger may explain what you felt, but it does not excuse how you respond.

Let the Holy Spirit lead.
Let the Word correct.
Let Jesus Christ govern your response.

🕊️ Same Tactic, Different Response ⚠️

Beloved, pay attention.

The enemy’s tactics are not new.
The faces may change.
The situations may change.
But the strategy underneath it is often the same:
fear, offense, discouragement, emotional overwhelm, pressure, and reaction.

This devotional is a call to the Body of Christ to be sober, vigilant, discerning, and Spirit-led.

Not every thought deserves agreement.
Not every emotion deserves reaction.
And familiar pain is not safer than the growth God is calling you into.

This time, the response must change.
