Have you ever wondered why the church says you don't have to follow the Torah? The Jews say Gentiles don't have to follow the Torah (just the Noachide Laws). And the Messianic Jews say that Messianic Gentiles are not obligated to follow the Torah. Even the Shabbat. It's a mystery to me. According to all religions believing in G-d, the believing Gentile is not obligated/mandated to follow the Torah. Why?

Distinction theology says honoring the Shabbat is only mandated for the Jews. That Christians are NOT mandated to follow Shabbat but can if they want to. What are your thoughts?

Isaiah 56:6 “Also the sons of the foreigner
Who join themselves to Hashem, to serve Him,
And to love the name of Hashem, to be His servants—
Everyone who keeps from defiling the Sabbath,
And holds fast My covenant,
Even them I will bring to My holy mountain,
And make them joyful in My house of prayer.
Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices
Will be accepted on My altar;
For My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.”

It appears that Hashem included the stranger/foreigner on the plains of Moab, when reestablishing His covenant with the Israelites. Would you agree?

Today we begin the weekly Torah Portion: Nitzavim/Vayelech. Moses is standing at Mt. Horeb and confirming His covenant with all peoples.

Deuteronomy 29:10-12: "...with your heads, your tribes, your elders, and your officers, even all the men of Israel, 11 your little ones, your wives, and the foreigners who are in the middle of your camps, from the one who cuts your wood to the one who draws your water, 12 that you may enter into the covenant of Hashem your Elohim, and into his oath, which Hashem your Elohim makes with you today.

Torah is for all believers.

Rosh Hashanah 2026 begins at sundown on Friday, September 11, 2026, and ends at nightfall on Sunday, September 13, 2026.

Shofar: The central ritual involves sounding the shofar (a ram's horn).
Festive Foods: Families eat apples dipped in honey and round challah to symbolize hopes for a sweet new year.
Greeting: People greet each other with "Shanah Tovah," which means "good year".

Truly, it is a time of repentance (teshuva) - a time to return to Hashem with holiness. It is important to make things right with others and make everything right with Hashem.
