Quantum Disciple Christian Ministries Think deep. Follow Christ. The Core Logic
Most people think faith and reason are two different operating systems that can't run on the same hardware.

The Quantum Disciple creates free Christ-centered resources that help families, churches, and communities explore faith, Scripture, apologetics, and biblical truth. I’ve spent my life proving that the opposite is true. The more we understand the "code" of the universe, the more it points to a brilliant Programmer. The Academic Stack: I hold a PhD in Computer Science and have spent 25 years teaching at the college level. My primary research focuses on the cutting edges of technology: Quantum Computing and Artificial Intelligence. But I’m not just a guy in a lab coat. Before I was diving into quantum algorithms, I was known in a completely different circuit. Under the name "Awesomefat," I spent years as a competitive eater. That side of me—the approachable guy in a Hawaiian shirt who doesn't take himself too seriously—is just as important as the PhD. The Mission: Defending the Code
My goal is simple: to use my background in science and technology to articulate the truth of the Christian faith to a world that often thinks it's obsolete. I believe we are living in a time where the "Quantum" and the "Divine" are converging, and we need a logic-driven defense for the hope that we have. "My talents weren't given to me just to build faster processors or better AI models. They were given to me to show that the Creator of the universe is not only real but logically necessary." Whether I'm writing The Quantum Papers, recording Transmissions, or filming Visual Logs, I am dedicated to one thing: Bridging the gap between the lab and the cross. Beyond the Screen
When I'm not teaching or analyzing theology, I'm often found working on technology that matters. I am a founder and primary funder of a startup dedicated to cancer research software, helping patients get access to novel trials that can save lives. Logic, faith, and compassion aren't separate categories—they are all part of the same mission.

Anthropic Files for an IPO: Money, Control & AI Accountability

Anthropic, the company behind Claude, publicly filed for an IPO on October 26. This is a filing, not a completed stock market debut.

In today's Tech Unfiltered, Dr. Mike explains the difference between net loss and cash spending, separates voting control from ownership, and asks what funding, reliability and oversight mean for ordinary AI users. Risk disclosures describe possibilities, not predictions.

What would you want to know before depending on an AI provider for important work?

Google AI and Your Privacy: The Personal Intelligence Ad Tradeoff

Connecting an AI assistant to your apps can make it more useful. But how might information derived from those connections also shape advertising?

In this October 25 edition of Tech Unfiltered, Dr. Mike separates source content from summaries and inferences, explains Google's stated safeguards, and looks at what to review before connecting apps. The policy predates today's coverage; this is not a claim that every Gmail user was enrolled.

What information would you be comfortable connecting to an assistant?

Britain’s AI Biosecurity Lab: What the £100 Million Plan Promises

Britain has announced a new AI Biosecurity Lab. In this October 24 edition of Tech Unfiltered, Dr. Mike separates the £100 million public investment from company credits—and research ambitions from proven results.

The goals include earlier detection of biological risks and faster development of countermeasures. Those are goals, not evidence that a new pandemic has begun or that the lab has already achieved them.

Watch the full episode here. What evidence would you want to see before calling this investment a success?

From the rising of the sun to its setting, His name is to be praised. Wake up worshiping — gratitude turns an ordinary Saturday into holy ground. Jesus, let praise be the first sound of our weekend.

Let all that you do be done in love — every call, every chore, every conversation. Love is the simplest sermon you will preach this evening. Jesus, shape our words and work in love tonight.
