Tomorrow is our last day of the fall session. Your kiddo will enjoy pizza before heading home for the night. 🍕

We learned about prayer today and what each part of the Lord's Prayer means. Quiz your child and see what they remember!

We discussed how God always listens to our prayers, even when we don't understand his answer, and memorized Psalm 66:19 - but truly God has listened; he has attended to the voice of my prayer.

We look forward to week four, and we will end our time together with pizza for the kids. Please comment below with your child's favorite between cheese, sausage, and pepperoni.

Hip Hip hooray, it's Kids' Club day today!

See you after school!

Week two at Kids' Club focused on how we can show our love and respect to God.

We read about how Jesus healed the ten lepers, but only one came back to tell him thank you. The kids brainstorm dozens of things we could thank God for. Ask your kiddo this week what they are grateful for and take some time to praise God together.

We memorized Deuteronomy 6:5: Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.

It was great to see all of the Kids' Club shirts today - but even better, all the smiling faces!

We are already looking forward to next week, when we will learn about prayer.

We had a great first day of Kids' Club and learned that God knows everything that ever has happened and everything that ever will happen. Nothing can "sneak up on God" and take Him by surprise.

We worked on memorizing Jeremiah 29:11 - For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future. Please encourage your child to continue to work on this verse throughout the week.

Each kiddo was given a Kids' Club shirt, and we'd love to have our participants wear those shirts each Wednesday. I'll try to send a reminder to parents Tuesday evening.

If you know another child who might like to join us, please share the information with them. We're always open to new participants!
