Last week’s Shavuot was such a meaningful and uplifting time for our community. 🍦📖

From the ice cream truck to the variety of learning sessions during our Tikkun Leil Shavuot, it was beautiful to come together for Torah, friendship, and connection. Thank you to everyone who participated, learned, taught, and helped make the week so special.

We’re looking forward to continuing the celebration with our SCFLP Siyyum tomorrow evening, as we mark another meaningful milestone together. 🎉

Hope to see you there!

Yesterday we celebrated our final day of Religious School with our 4th-7th graders by taking a walking field trip for boba! 🧋☀️

It was the perfect way to wrap up a year filled with joyful Jewish learning, friendship, laughter, and memory-making.

We are so proud of all our students and grateful for the beautiful community we continue to build together.

Wishing everyone a wonderful almost summer! 💙

As we count the Omer — the 49 days between Pesach (Passover) and Shavuot — we prepare ourselves for the gift of a lifetime. At Shavuot, we celebrate receiving that gift: the Torah!

Join Rav Naomi and friends for a semi-traditional Tikkun Leyl Shavuot featuring an ice cream party with a visit from the Cool Cow Ice Cream Truck, guest teachers from the congregation, cheesecake, learning, and community.

We hope you’ll join us for this sweet and meaningful evening of celebration!

Yesterday, our 4th-7th graders had an amazing time celebrating Lag B’Omer! 🔥✨

From eating s’mores to tackling a fun STEM bonfire-building challenge, the energy and creativity were incredible. Students also expressed their middot (values) through meaningful rock painting and spread chesed (kindness) by writing thoughtful letters to others.

A beautiful day filled with joy, connection, and community! 🩵

This past Sunday, our B’Mitzvah cohort had the meaningful opportunity to visit Mayyim Hayyim: Living Waters Community Mikveh in Newton. 💧

Together, we explored the beauty and purpose of the mikveh as a ritual space; one that marks moments of transition, growth, and renewal in Jewish life.

We are so grateful for the warm and welcoming staff at Mayyim Hayyim, who helped bring this experience to life for our learners.

Kol hakavod to our students for showing such curiosity, respect, and openness throughout the visit. We’re so proud of you! 💙

This Yom haShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day), we are reflecting and shedding a tear or two over this stunning 1991 piece from Lilith Magazine, about a gathering of children who had been hidden during the Holocaust.

Now adults, children hidden during the Holocaust gather and speak out.
