On day 3 of VBS, we helped David hide from
Saul and his army and learned how God is our Safe Place, too! We tested a shell-ter for our egg and were so excited that it didn’t break, even when it went through “hard times!” Our verse today was, “Then I pray to you, O Lord. I say, ‘you are my place of refuge’” (Psalm 142:5). Dr. Flutterby promised that tomorrow he’s going to try something that’s never been tried before in the history of butterfly catching! We’ll see what he comes up with!

On Day 2 of VBS, we had a lot of laughs over a cheeseburger 🍔 and learned from Psalm 139 that God Knows Everything! He knows us completely and loves us. Our Bible verse said, “O Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me” (Psalm 139:1). Thanks to everyone who has supported our missions offering to buy fruit trees in Honduras and Guatemala and to bring in fruit for the local food pantry. We are grateful!

God is our Creator! Day One of VBS had us singing, clapping, jumping, dancing, and celebrating all that God made!! We learned the verse, “Praise the Lord, everything he has created, everything in all his kingdom” (Psalm 103:22). We are looking forward to tomorrow when we learn about another aspect of God’s nature!

We are so excited to begin Rainforest Falls VBS this Monday morning at 9 am! We’ll open the doors at 8:40 for check-in. We can’t wait to explore the Nature of God together this week!!
