September is here, so that must mean it's time for Christmas music! The Newington Christmas Choir will begin practices for this year's cantata on Wednesday, 9/9 at 5:45. Practices are offered twice a week to accommodate different schedules: Wednesdays from 5:45 to 6:25 and Sundays from 11:45 to 12:25. You don't have to come twice a week, just choose the time that works best for you. This is a multigenerational choir---youth and adults are welcome to participate---and it's also open to anyone with a heart for worship regardless of musical know-how or experience. You also don't have to be a member at Newington in order to participate. We look forward to singing with you!

Today's a Fifth Sunday and that means lots of reasons to celebrate at Newington! We'll be sharing a potluck lunch after service today, so please bring a dish to share. It's also Kids' Sunday! This Sunday is a Fifth Sunday celebration at Newington! That means we'll share in a potluck lunch together after service (please bring a dish to share!) It also means that it's Kids' Sunday! If children would like to serve in our worship service, please check in with Ms. Heather between 10 a.m. and 10:15. (She'll visit Sunday School classes around 10 a.m. to see what kids would like to help with greeting).
