To say we are proud of these amazing kids is definitely an understatement! Our Deeper Kids group has completed four missions projects this year, prayed for missionaries and visited with them, studied the promises of God in the Old Testament and how God fulfilled His promises through Jesus. They have been kind, prayerful, and helpful. We worked on learning the books of the Old Testament, Proverbs 3:5-6, Psalm 23, and reviewed The Lord’s Prayer, The New Testament Books, the Apostle’s Creed and John 3:16. Wow! They have been a busy group and we celebrated their Godly character and hard work tonight. Happy Summer, everyone! We hope to see you all at VBS, on Sundays, and back again for Wednesdays in September!!!

As of Friday, we are just ONE MONTH away from Rainforest Falls VBS and the excitement is real!!! This Friday, we’ll work as a team in the Fellowship Hall starting at 6 pm to put together projects for VBS. There’ll be vines, leaves, more vines, snakes, name tags, more vines, flowers, frogs, butterflies…and more vines. Lots of projects to choose from and you don’t have to be artistic to help!

So many reasons to celebrate! On Mother’s Day, we rejoiced as families participated in a child dedication! This past Sunday, our JOY Sunday School class received a big thank you from the superintendent from a local jail for their gift of $80 for snacks, drinks, Bibles and more for their officers. We also recognized two college scholarship recipients from the Everbless Foundation. It’s so good to see all that God is doing. We are grateful!
